"Yes you're lovely...."

Tonight I introduced bRc to Father of the Bride. Oh how I love that movie, I would have to stay it's my favorite movie! I think he liked it! We also baked Ghiardelli Dark Chocolate brownies and Mmmm were they delicious; I recommend them to all chocolate lovers! First of all, every since I saw Father of the Bride like a million years ago (okay maybe just 7 or 8 years ago...) I have been in love with the house. I did a little research and the actual house is in Pasadena, California. Too bad that's on the opposite coast :( Ohhh well, I guess I'll just have to stare at it through pictures... I really think that the house was made for me. I love this style, love the foliage, the entry, and green shutters,;to me, it really is the perfect home. I also am in love with Annie's (Kimberly William Paisley) LBD at the beginning of the movie. This movie was filmed in 1991, so that just shows you that if you have a classic black dress, that it can withstand 18 years and still be perfectly appropriate to don at a fabulous party!
This is the only decent picture I could find on Google Image search. In the movie she wears it with classic black pumps and a strand of pearls, she looks classy, elegant and sophisticated. Where can I find a perfect black dress like that?! Any suggestions readers?! I still do not have the perfect LBD. I have searched high and low, I have many black dresses, but I just have not found "the one". Yes, I just related finding the perfect LBD to finding the love of your life. Don't judge :)

I want to share two picture frame finds with you all and see if you like! I am buying lots of frames to hang in my dorm room, they are light pink, to match the theme of my room (pastels: pink, green, blue, yellow). I bought a giant mahogany wooden collage frame at WalMart a while back and am saving that for right above my bed considering that takes up a lot of space, but for the other wall that the length of my bed sits against, I want many picture frames covering the wall. Here are the two newest additions to my collection (taken with phone, so I apologize in advance for poor picture qualilty):

This one was purchased at Marshalls ($10) You can't tell in the picture, but I love the gold detailingThis one was purchased at Hallmark ($25) It was in the baby section, and I just couldn't pass it up, I will definitely be placing a black and white photo in it!

Friday morning, I am heading to Maryland to visit my "Big sister" (in my sorority) and I couldn't be more excited! It will be the first trip I take since being home from school! I will be packing probabaly on Thursday, so I will be sure to post some packing pictures, and my personal favorite packing tips! I also ordered this watch on Thursday and am patiently awaiting its arrival! I know it's a men's watch, but I wanted something bold. I wanted something that would make a statement and something that I can wear without having to wear any other jewelry. My dad has several of these Daniel Steiger watches and they are so inexpensive for the quality that they exude. I will post plenty of pictures when the watch finally arrives!

I hope you are all off to a great week so far!
Yours,
sCe

Oh Father of the Bride is one of my all time favorites too! I live only a few miles away from the house where they filmed it at in Pasadena, CA so I am always making my boyfriend drive by it just to catch a glimpse!

Have a fun and safe trip to Maryland :) XOXO

Every so often, JCrew or Banana have the perfect LBD.

I'm a watch-a-holic, too!! Right now, I have two Michele's but I'm looking to add to my collection. I was looking at the Jill Stuart Retrograde in Pink but I don't know. What do you think? If I spend more than $200 on a watch, I'd like for it to be timeless and classic.

HAve an awesome day!

I hope you have a great trip! Father of the Bride is so classic. White House Black Market has some dresses like that. They have a lot of really classic classy dresses. They're slightly expensive though (problem for me!) but you should check them out!

I used to go visit my Big Sis. She was awesome! I don't have a real sister, so the sorority one made up for it!
