An award and College outfits!

First off, I have to tell you ladies I won ANOTHER giveaway! August is my lucky month! The lovely Kristin from Grosgrain Lane picked me as the winner of Olay Definity Face Tint. I am not only thrilled to win, but I am so thrilled to give this to my mother to try because she has been searching high and low for an anti-aging cream (although I certainly don't think she needs one!). I hope she loves this cream and can't wait to surprise her and tell her I won it from a fellow blogger!

I also won ANOTHER award. I know, really I'm cleaning up here on the blog world. So thank you so so much to Southern Champagne Wishes! I won the gem award, and am so pleased to win it from such a wonderful woman!
-----------------------------------------------
I have been getting so many great e-mails and comments in regard to my post The Times Have Changed that I did recently, and in many of the e-mails you have asked me what I usually wear to class or to run errands/meet for lunch. So, I decided I would show you several outfits that I think are great for all of those occassions! This is great for a crisp fall day, where it is still warm enough to wear a skirt without tights.
Also very great for a fall day. Wearing the sweater and wool pants, means you won't have to wear a bulky jacket. Also, those Ugg suede driving mocs are oh so comfortable.Classic, simple, easy.Wear all of the pretty spring/summer colors you can before it's too late! (the skirt is a golf skirt so it is super comfortable to walk to class in)
Sweaters are great because if it's cool in the classroom, you can keep warm, but if it's hot outside, just tie it around your shoulders.
Cute with a skirt, but in no way too overdone to go to class in.Gotta love the Lilly shorts! For a cool September day or maybe you have somewhere to go in the evening and need to stay warm while walking there.
Going out on a weekend (ohh or maybe a Thursday ;)) This is a classy way of achieving the "party look". Don't be trashy and wear cut off shirts, or too-short-shorts or flashy accessories.
If it's raining, don't let that stop you! dress comfortably in jeans, with a plain long sleeve shirt, a cute, light jacket, and your favorite pair of rain boots (or duck boots!)

For all of these outfits, I will normally add a special touch whether it be a matching bag, or a headband, or pearls, or a silk belt. I also wear flip flops and sandals for as long as I can becuase they are just easier and more comfortable for me than any other shoe. I loved creating all of these "looks" and I hope you enjoyed seeing them. Which one is your favorite? What is your favorite outfit for errands or lunch with the girls or going to class? I would love to see or hear all about it.

As a side note, my show off your dorm week will kick off on Monday September 7th and end Friday September 11th. I have gotten a great many girls that are interested, and can't wait to show off all of their pretty rooms! Keep e-mailing me at Summerwind41490@gmail.com if you are interested!
Yours,
sCe

Those outfits are so cute, I am upset that in the south it will be way too hot to wear cute things for a while.

Oh goodness, you're making me miss college!!!! Those are all adorable outfits and you have great taste!

I think in college (and still, really!) I was most often seen in khakis and a polo or cardigan. That was easy and fast, but not shorts and a tshirt.

Fall is probably my favorite season. For class or coffee I usually wear skinny jeans, riding boots, and either an oxford button up or a chunky knit sweater...and ALWAYS a big, cute bag.

Thanks for your sweet comments!

Okay, I love all of those outfits, but if I had to pick favorites it would be the "party look" and the rainy day look. I especially love those boots - I have got to get some! How have I gone so long without having any?

These are too cute! I wore very similar things in college. Oh how I miss it! Do you have pin attire day for your sorority?

very cute outfits! I wish more people in Montana dressed cute for class, but I think everyone is too concerned with dressing as warm as they can so the inside of your nose doesn't freeze in the winter! LOL. Although, in the fall, people generally dress nicer until it starts getting too chilly! I always try and dress nice though; it makes me feel better and more attentive, as well as show respect towards my professors! :) My favorite outfits that you displayed were definitely the rainy day outfit and the going out look; both resemble my own ensembles for days like those! ♥

You are just adorable! And you are definitely making me wish I could go back to undergrad!

My favorite outfit must be the yellow skirt. Lately I'm quite obsessed with yellow. I also love the rainy day look. I would add a hot pink headband to that one- just to brighten up someone's gloomy day!
