I just finished "Something Blue" by Emily Griffin and it was no short of greatness. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book about a woman who hasn't yet found her true self. She starts out as a selfish manhatanite and turns into a selfless londoner. I recommend this book to anyone who wants a fun but also serious '"lighter" read. I loved it and can't wait to read the rest of Emily Griffin's novels.
I also want to share with you a quick little "craft" that I did today. My dad has a few old ties that he gives to me because I love the silky patterns, but I never knew what to do with the old ties. Today it just hit me. Turn them into headbands! All I used for this craft was 1 old tie, 1 spool of thread, 1 needle, and one plastic headband from J.Crew. Here is how it turned out:
It only took me about 20 minutes to make and when in my hair, it looks like I bought it. It will be a great new addition to my fall wardrobe.
Thanks to Park Avenue Princess for the Splash Award! This award is a new one, I have never even heard of it, so I am so glad to be receiving it!
Also, I still have a few spots for my show off your dorm week coming up in September. E-mail me at Summerwind41490@gmail.com to be a part of this fun week and to show off your cute dorm or apartment!
Coming next week, I will show a few outfits that I think are appropriate for going to class!
