"I'm with you, rain or shine!"

During the dead of winter when it's so very cold and I cringe just stepping outside, I admit, I wear Ugg boots. In fact, I have several pairs. Personally, I think they are very unattractive footwear, and they don't compliment any one very well. I'm a hypocrite, right? Well, not really. I LOVE my Uggs. They keep my feet so warm and are so comfortable. However, when I wear them, I am not only cringing because I dislike walking to class in the freezing cold or snow but I am cringing at myself for wearing the boots. Over the years, I have come up with several just as good options to keep your feet warm and dry in the winter months. These options, in my opinion are a more fashionable option than your go-to Ugg boots.
L.L. Bean Duck Boots- a preppy staple worn by both sexes. They have so many options such as the shearling lined option.L.L. Bean Town and Field Suede Boots- So classic but also stylishTravel Smith Andiamo Riding boot- I love the metal hardware detail.
Ugg BellvueBorn Miriam- You know you will get great quality when ordering these.

Talbots Quilted Riding Boots- These are at the top of my wishlist!
Old Navy Faux Leather Harness Boots- A great cheap option. Only $34.50

Which pair is your favorite? Do you have any go -to boots in your closet? Have a fantastic day!
Yours,
sCe

LL Bean also has a new pair of tall duck boots (sherpa lined) that are super cute! I'm thinking of picking up a pair this fall. My only concern is that I want a black pair, and I think they only come in brown :(

I love the quilted riding boots! I usually wear my riding boots in fall/winter cold but when I lived on campus and didn't want to get them covered in road salt, I wore my snow shoes...chic...I know.

I have a great pair of J.Crew riding boots, but most of my winter is spent in my Hunter Wellies and Uggs, the salt and snow up here just destroys shoes!

Some great options! I agree with you about Uggs, but they are oh so cozy! I am going to check out the guilted Talbots boots!

LOVE the LL Bean ones with the buckle! My fave boots aren't exactly weather-friendly.. but they're super cute suede slouch boots from Bakers in grey. Obsessed.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I have Uggs as well (I can't help it, they're so warm!), but I love all of your other options and will definitely be checking them out.

The Talbot's pair is adorable!

I'm right there with you- a reluctant ugg owner :) But like you, I don't care, I just love how soft and warm they are!!!

Since uggs aren't really needed in Southern California, I'll probably keep mine in storage this winter. But I will break out my J.Crew boots-very similar to the other brown leather boots you posted
