Let's Go Out

If you go into a store such as Forever21, H&M, BeBe, or South Moon Under, you see a lot of the top trends from the runway replicated into ready to wear items. These stores make it very affordable to try the latest trends. For instance, if you were to go to Forever21's website right now, you could find over the knee boots, military inspired frocks and flow-y sweaters.
I am actually a big fan of Forever21 for "going out" clothing, but you can definitely go wrong in these types of stores. Some girls think that they need to dress provocatively when going out for the night in a college town and seeing other girls with super short skirts, platform high heels, and low cut shirts can make other girls feel the need to dress that way. There are some really cute options in all of these "trendy" stores that are classy and appropriate but still make you look great! My real life friend over at Sweet Caroline, C, gave me the idea to share what I wear out on the weekends. I loved her idea, so here it goes!
Belted dress and cowboy boots make for a fun outfit.
I love this top and a girl in my sorority loaned me the skirt and I just added pearl earrings and a patent leather pump.
This is Royar from Young Southern Prep and I at Hampden-Sydney! We met there on weekend and chatted it up! I love how she is in her Lilly. You can read her blog about this here. This dress is J.crew and I curled my hair and added pearls. For daytime, a sundress is always an appropriate choice!
I paired a black ruffle top from Forever21 with simple, light pink, cuffed shorts, and added black short heels. To dress it up a little more, I curled my hair and added a fun headband from Forever21.
This was during December so this skirt was very appropriate. It is actually from Gap Kids. I paired in with tights, heels, and a fun sequin top from Ann Taylor. I curled my hair again... I think styling your hair can definitely add a punch to a somewhat plain outfit.
What do you like to wear when you are out on the town or out in your college town? I'd love to know! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

I love how classy all of your going out looks are! I have the J. Crew dress too. Shorts are such a great alternative to skirts/dresses for going out as well. I've also been into rompers this summer too, and have one I'm looking forward to pairing with tights soon! :)

I totally agree, you can find some really cute stuff at Forever 21, but you can also find some trashy stuff. Also, I like to put in my clip in hair extensions and twist them into a side bun just for fun, and it dresses up an outfit! Still working on the curling hair part, I can't ever reach the back of my head and make it look good!:(

I was planning on doing a similar post tomorrow! I went shopping with my friends and realized how many trashy "going out" clothes there are. Yours are perfect!

You're so sweet to include me! I miss that weekend & you! (I still think about us trying to crouch down in our dresses during "Shout"!) But anyways, I love all of your outfits! You always look so cute!

Is the dress from F21? And the black top underneath it (with the cute skirt)??? I'm in love with both!

You have wonderful fashion sense, thanks for the post! :)
