Falsies

Now that October is over, there is not really an excuse to have these kind of eyelashes...
Yes that is me, and yes I wore them for Halloween weekend. I had never used false lashes before and got extremely frustrated trying to apply them. However, once I somewhat got the hang of it, it was fun to have them on for the night. I got really dramatic ones from the drugstore because it was Halloween and hey, you can get away with that kind of stuff on Halloween.

But, this has led me to want to try other false eyelashes for dressier occasions. No, no, no, not the Halloween kind, but the more natural kind that all of the celebs wear.

But I really have no idea what good brands are or what good glue is or the real (proper) way to apply them is! So if you know how or have worn false eyelashes before, leave a comment and let me know about your experience! Have a fabulous weekend!
Yours,
sCe

i've only worn falsies once, and it was for halloween as well! i really liked how they looked and have tried to apply them again, but I think the glue that I tried to use the subsequent times wasn't up to par. the first type of lashes and glue that I used (which worked awesome) was the ardell lashes and the glue that came with them. you can find them at any drugstore and they look awesome.

I was so happy to see this post! I absolutely love falsies! As a former pageant girl (Miss America preliminaries), I've had a lot of practice with them and can tell you anything you want to know about falsies. Duo glue is the best. You can find it at some drugstores, Ulta as well as Sephora. The expensive lashes are great but I love Ardell lashes that can be found at drugstores, Ulta, etc. They will run you about $5 and some change. I wear them a few times then toss them. My favorite style is #53. They aren't overly dramatic but give you volume which looks great and natural...perfect for a night out! But, you have to pick a style that works with your eye shape. Sorry for the novel! Feel free to email me if you have more questions. Good Luck and Happy Friday!

I use fake lashes all the time {well on the weekends} and i LOVE them! I have tried every expensive kind and found the ones I bought at target for 3.49 were the best and reuse better..yes, I reuse my fake lashes! The glue workes the best too! Ardell Fashion Lashes is the brand. You can buy at target, cvs, and walmart!

There are a lot of great tutorials on You Tube about applying false eyelashes! They cover glue and methodology. Good luck!

I have freakishly long lashes so I've never used them but I've heard really great things about mac and their collection of lashes.

MAC number 7 lashes! they're so popular they're hard to find sometimes! but they are beautiful!

I've worn fake lashes for some themed parties and date functions and it is so much fun!

I once got blue sparkly ones (for a themed date function of course), however, I gave up trying to put them on, haha!

The Laura Mericer lashes you posted are great! They come with their own glue, which is black. The glue almost acts like an eye liner which in nice when you're going for the more dramatic look!
