Rugby by Ralph Lauren

One of my all time favorite brands is Rugby Ralph Lauren. Most of the clothing is very well-made, comfortable and flattering. Plus, who doesn't love the atmosphere of a Rugby store?! My favorite Rugby store is in Georgetown (I've mentioned it in past posts here and here)...and the bar/restaurant is too much fun!

Well, Rugby is currently offering a promotion where most of their sale items are an extra 25% off and you also get free shipping using the code "FALLIN2RGB".

The Phelps shirt (what good timing with the name of this shirt...although, I don't really think this is really Michael's style, would you agree?) is atop the list in my Rugby shopping cart. A little secret for all of you Rugby shoppers: don't limit yourself to just the women's clothing! The Rugby men's sizes run really small, so I have purchased many button downs and rugby shirts in the men's section in sizes x-small and small. In this case, for a button down, check the size chart... by the measurements they give, I think a small would fit me appropriately.
The Rylance is next in my shopping cart because of its' simple silhouette and pattern-less material. I really only wear plain maxi dresses because I feel like a print on all that fabric makes women look larger than they are. The dress is a great price too! At $60, this is an affordable way to sport the maxi dress trend. My color pick is between pink or orange.. leaning more towards the pink!

This rugby comes out to be $26!! That is a serious steal if you ask me. Sport the USA colors and wear this top year round with white bottoms in the summer and denim in the winter. Rugby shirts were one of my staples for clothing in college because they are as comfortable as wearing a t-shirt but look very put together.

I usually hate hooded clothing but I really like this striped style. The back of the shirt has a patch with a number on it to add interest. At $40, this piece is the perfect transition piece. Take it from spring into summer and then from summer into fall.

This rugby dress comes down to $30. It's not the best rugby dress I've seen, but it is definitely cute and very inexpensive compared to the usual prices of rugby dresses. Personally, I would disregard the fact that this is technically a "white dress" and wear this in spring/summer/fall. It would look great with rain boots, riding boots, Bonannos/Jack Rogers, Tory Burch revas and even LLBean duck boots. I can also see myself layering this dress with grey wool tights in the winter or layering the top half with a turtleneck.

This top wins "cutest swimsuit". The top is down to $30 which is a pretty good price for Rugby (whereas at Target you could get an entire suit for $30).

So I don't play cricket... and never have, but this cricket sweater is calling my name. There are so many ways you could wear this (sooooo cute layered under a navy blazer!).

Scroll through to see some of my fall favorites. Rugby and Brooks Brothers seem to be on the same page for fall 2012 and I love it.

What are your favorite Rugby pieces? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe
