Fall's Perfect Polish!

First order of business on Summer Wind is to wish my parents a very happy 28th wedding anniversary!!!!!! I love you both very much!!!!!

The spot where Daddy popped the question.. right in front of the Capital's Christmas tree!

Now on today's regularly scheduled posting... I saw this Dolce and Gabbana ad in Forbes magazine a while back and fell in love with the model's nail color. I took an iPhone shot that does not do the color justice. So, since seeing this color, I have been on the hunt for the perfect burgundy/cabernet color and I have finally found it!

I found it at Sephora and it is the SpaRitual brand in Epicurean and it runs about $10. My iPhone shot above makes it look more bright red than it really is. It is the perfect fall shade, in my opinion, and the formula is perfect for doing your nails at home (meaning it's not too thick!). I will definitely be using this all throughout the fall/winter. After using SpaRitual I think I will continue to buy this brand over Essie (a favorite) because of the formula-- it was just so easy to apply and depth of color!

Have you tried SpaRitual? What is your favorite burgundy shade for fall? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

I love this color! I've been calling that deep red/plum shade "bordeaux" and I feel so fancy when I do ;)

Happy Anniversary to your parents! What a fun proposal spot!

And I have yet to find a good burgundy Fall shade, but I am loving Essie's Master Plan (a grayish color) on my toes right now!

Essie's Size Matters is also a great deep red color for fall! I'm hooked on it :)

on the nail polish front: I've been dying over this color and even blogged about it here ;) I bought Essie's Skirting the Issue and got so many compliments!

Love that burgundy color! ...Almost maroon - Go Hokies!

But if you want to go super classis, the most classic dark burgundy is Chanel Vamp
