CK Bradley

I have been pining away for spring/summer ever since the Lilly new year sale! I love the snow and the holiday season that winter brings, but once January hits, I'm ready to move on to armer times.

I miss my tan. I miss my sun-kissed blonde hair. I miss fresh watermelon. I miss margaritas on the rocks and G&T's poolside. I miss my patterned Lilly shifts, monogram Bonanno's, RayBan sunnies, monogram clutches and bright pink peddies. Really, I could go on for days...

past OOTD: RL OCBD, CKB skirt, Jack Rogers flats
Alas, summer will return, but CK Bradley will not. This came to mind the other day when I was pinning. I ran across a CKB pin and it reminded of the gorgeous things that the fabulous Camilla Bradley created (see her Pinterest and blog).

My hope is that CKB will miraculously stumble upon this post and decide to open up shop once again. Because well, her things were perfect. They provided the quintessential wardrobe for summertime. (all photos via CKB blog and Pinterest).

Those prints, those colors!

While I loved the prints, I loved the cuts of the dresses even more. I only have several pieces of CKB. I was really only "old enough" to sport the look at the end of high school... it closed my freshman year of college. Le sigh.

Blue + White is the way to my heart.

In love with the striped dress and ric rac skirt. This picture is from 8 years ago and I would still wear these designs... This is why you buy classics!

I think that J. McLaughlin and Lilly are two brands that are a nice blend of CK Bradley, but the brights/patterns/cuts of summer needs another contender and I nominate that CKB make a comeback!

What do you think? Do you long for summer and new CKB as much as I do?! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,
sCe

Well where have you been all my life!? Im in Aspen now, and thanks to KP i read your colorful post - and all i can say is that thanks to posts like yours i know what my next step should be... So watch out... If the wind blows from the right spot, and the J & G's (jack n gingers) are flowing, and my toes are just the right shade of tangerined coral, ck bradley may fill your lives again...

If the warm winds prevail, and the J&G are flowing, and my toes get back to that perfect shade of tangerined coral, i may just fill your lives again with CKB... So someone get on the wind and libations and ill paint my toes!!!

I've never even heard of CKB..possibly because I was still in high school when she stopped designing..however, I love all of the clothing you've shown in this post! I would definitely buy these types of items.

I miss CKB too! I have the ric rac skirt pictured in your post, and I still wear it. No signs of wear, just a quality-made piece.

I have three of my FAVORITE dresses of all time that are CK Bradley. I have worn them countless and countless times and they are the perfect fit without being "too much". Often times I find it hard to buy dresses that are fun and girly but still have the sophistication factor and all of my CKB items have achieved all of that!!

I was just thinking about this today. I've resorted to scouring consignment stores but never with much success. Come back soon CKB- WE MISS YOU!!
