The beauty portion of YSL is owned by L'Oreal. L'Oreal purchased YSL in 2008 and the lipsticks are exact duplicates in formula. Yes, that $25 price difference is strictly based on prettier packaging and the YSL name alone. While I am a sucker for packaging, I will keep my YSL tubes in my handbag for a more glamorous application and my L'Oreal's for at home application.
I haven't yet tried the L'Oreal lip products, but you better be sure that I will be going to my nearest Target and trying out a bunch... You can almost purchase 4 L'Oreal colors for the price of one YSL.
Do you have a favorite L'Oreal lip product and/or color that you swear by? I am totally interested... please dish!

I have used both concealer pens and can say I do not notice a difference (other than my wallet's ;) )
