The Best Travel Outfit

I have posted about traveling outfits in the past that have been focused on road trips, however, I haven't done much on flight fashion. See past travel posts here, here, and here.
Really, it seems as though there is no such thing as flight fashion. Gone are the days where travelers get all dolled up. To me, I find it rather unfortunate seeing patrons dressed in pajamas. The worst? When you see girls clad in Juicy Couture velour track suits. Ohhhh does it bring me back to Jessica Simpson circa 2004 in Newlyweds.
I find that I fall somewhere in between the flight fashion spectrum. I certainly don't get all gussied up. However, I can guarantee that you will never find me flying in my PJ's... unless I was in my private jet ;).
Come Fly With Me

My go-to travel outfit for summer: white tee, white denim, scarf, tote, sandals, handbag, and minimal jewelry.

A Lilly Pulitzer Murfee is the perfect weight/size scarf for traveling. My flight from Atlanta to Pittsburgh was chilly and the scarf made for a perfect wrap.

What do you wear when traveling? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,

Cute outfit! I learned last year to never wear my white Lilly jeans on the plane because they get too dirty! I usually just wear blue jeans and a tee!

I am a fan of a silk button down, leggings, ballet flats (I pack a pair of socks to slip on the plane) and a big scarf as well.

LOL I confess to wearing a navy blue Talbots velour track suit on the 10 hour red eye flight home from Hawaii, but generally I wear the same as you when flying. Definitely wear the murfee scarves cause I am always chilly on the plane. If I don't have that, I bring a VV Shep shirt. You never know who you will see when traveling! Must look stylish but comfy in my opinion!

It really depends on the length of the trip and where Im going. My most recent trip was to Hawaii. I wore a maxi dress (+ Fedora) and took a sweater. This was the best choice, because I stayed warm all day and looked cute! On the way back was a little different. I broke out the yoga pants and a cute tank. This was the best choice for this trip, because by this point I was tired and all I cared was to be comfortable.

totally agree about that scarf, I always bring one in case I get chilly!

What size boat and tote do you have? The medium seems a little small but the large is just huge.

Love this outfit - all white with an accent scarf and a speedy is very chic travel wear as well as being light and breezy for when you arrive at a warmer destination! I did an all-white outfit on a plane journey once and an air steward tipped coffee all down my trousers during a bit of turbulence...he didn't even apologise!! Anyhoo I've been nervy of all-white ever since but you've re-inspired me!!
