Tell the World I'm Coming Home

This past weekend was the best. I packed my bags, literally jumped into my cowboy boots and headed south to Virginia for my alma mater's homecoming. (Sidenote: Pittsburgh, stop giving me weird looks when I wear my cowboy boots out in public). This was the first time I had been back since I graduated
This is how I felt about being back. It was a bit weird but it was so good to see friends that I hadn't seen in over a year.

My junior/senior year roomie/sorority sister/bff, Lisa, and I visited our humble abode '1080'. I actually visited my old room since sorority sisters still live in the house! It was definitely a bittersweet moment.

I also visited my freshman year house. It was one of the smallest dorms on campus (I lived with 12 girls and 12 guys) and we all became like family. It was so great to be back with them; it was like we never left.

Then, I of course, had to visit ZTA. Not only where I spent my junior year living (check out my dorm room here) but where I met some of my best friends in the entire world (My Zeta family is in the photo above, Go Greek!!). Ohhhhh college. A big shout out to all of the JMU ZTA's (only the best get crowned ;). It was so flattering and heartwarming to hear how many of you read Summer Wind. I am so appreciative of the support and loved meeting all of the newest sisters.

I mean come on... you know you went to the best school when you even visit the library (#clubcarrier forever).
Do you visit your alma mater often? Where did/do you go to school?! Have a fabulous day!
Yours,

Such cute looks, loved the cowboy boots with the skirt. Since my boyfriend still lives in Boston, I have the chance to visit our alma mater (Boston College) pretty often - mainly for tailgates! It's definitely a weird feeling though to realize that the little ones on campus are the class of 2017...
