Definitely a simple but gorgeous fall outfit-- the shoes are so comfortable and the leather skirt adds some edge and texture to an otherwise basic outfit.
Club Monaco has definitely taken a place in my top 5 favorite places to shop. I feel like everything they offer is somewhat trendy, but also still conservative and classic enough for work and play. They also have great sales and a lot of their pieces are pretty good quality.
Not to mention, they offer a lot of basic staple pieces like the above silk blouse (would look great with leggings and riding boots, too). I got their Adele cashmere scarf in light heather grey last year (it's back again this year!) and it has been one of the most worn pieces in my closet. In person it is the lightest shade of grey, so it pairs with pretty much anything and everything. It's huge so it's great for freezing cold days. I also always have it with me on airplanes-- it doubles as a blanket!

I visited the NYC store last month and loved everything about it! Not to mention there's a coffee shop and bookstore attached to it. I got the black scarf for an amazing deal last season and now I'm thinking I may need the grey one too!
I love their Flagship store. It's right near my office so I go there way too frequently!
What size skirt did you get? DO they typically run big?
