Grand Banks Oyster Bar

After our trip back from East Hampton, we headed to Pier 25 which is home to Grand Banks to catch one last summer sunset. The views were incredible, oysters fantastic, drinks delicious and company was the best!

I gave this dress its last hurrah before it will be put away until next year. Tear. Thankfully, I don't have to put away these amazing sunglasses from Country Squire Haberdashery!

The sunset was phenomenal. Truly a wonderful way to toast the end of summer. This is a must in Manhattan-- Grand Banks is open June through the end of October, so hurry before it sets sail for warmer weather. It's the absolute perfect date night spot.

Eugenia snapping pics of the sailboats-- there were tons on the water!

The sunset made the buildings glow-- it was fun catching a glimpse of my uncle's old apartment, too!

The oysters were wonderful! The menu is pretty limited-- just oysters and a few other light things like old bay chips (yum). They also have a limited cocktail menu (not a full bar), but there was plenty of bubbly! Also, the people watching is fantastic. As we were walking in, Seth Meyers and his wife walked passed us and most patrons had the casual chic look down pat.

Just a few things I'd wear to have oysters and cocktails now that the fall season is upon us! Have you been to Grand Banks? Have a fabulous day!

Yours,

This pics are gorg!

And yes, Lauren, I could eat oysters all day long too. Totally wishing I was there instead of reading this from my desk, with a sandwich... Bookmarking for my next trip up there!
