Leather Pants

I definitely copied the look from this post-- I knew I loved the look and knew I had everything to recreate it. This is something I am striving to do more: step out of my comfort zone. Leather pants are not in my comfort zone, that's for sure. In fact, I've had these pants for almost a year now, and this is only the second time I've worn them (see past post here).
I have always gravitated towards classic, basic pieces with preppy influences. Since I've grown up and now work in an office in a city, I feel like adding more modern pieces to update what I have. For example, one of the reasons that I love this outfit is that everything I am wearing is classic, except the pants. (What can I say... I'm a wild child ;) ).
Notice anything else new? I'm not sporting my usual RayBan variety of sunglasses. These are fabulous new sunglasses from Country Squire Haberdashery... I had no idea Island Company made sunglasses, and I'm a new fan. I chose the pair I am wearing because they were a little different than anything else I have... but they have so many styles to choose from. Plus, I love that Country Squire is carrying them-- beautiful, well made sunglasses and amazing customer service!
Do you try new things oftem? What is one new thing you have tried recently, whether it is style related or not... I'm so curious and always looking for something new to try. Have a fabulous day!
Yours,

I am way too afraid to buy leather pants, but the picture from Banana Republic with the sweater and oxford underneath really make it tempting.

So cute! And if you changed to heels, you could go from casual to dressed up in a flash!
