My Everyday Jewelry

Do you have jewelry that you like to wear everyday? I wear the exact same jewelry every single day. Sometimes I'll add bracelets, watches, a statement necklace, etc., but I still have those certain pieces that I always have on me.
Everyday, I wear a David Yurman Petite Albion Ring, Cartier Love Ring, Diamond solitaire necklace, freshwater pearl studs, and my monogram necklace. I wear these whether I am going to a cocktail party, work, or I am sitting at home in my pajamas on a Sunday morning.

For me, everyday jewelry has to be super wearable-- meaning that anything that's costume-y is out of the question because it tarnishes quickly. I actually have this issue with my monogram necklace since it is not solid gold. My mom has a gold one, and it's gorgeous-- it's very small and dainty, however, the jeweler that made hers has since passed away, so we are on the hunt for a jeweler that can make one for me similar to hers!

Both rings were gifts from my parents. The David Yurman ring wears wonderfully-- it's very durable and understated. The love ring is one I received this Christmas. I had wanted one for forever and seeing the iconic red box literally took my breath away. The best part? It's engraved with my name on the inside of the band! Maybe one day I'll get the bracelet to match ;)

The pearl studs are non negotiable. A few times a year, I'll change it up and wear something different, but pearl studs are a constant. I have so many pairs of faux back ups because I constantly lose them, but have been favoring this freshwater pair lately... fingers crossed I do not lose these!!

I used to wear a necklace from Bauble Bar which was basically the CZ version of what I wear now (it is sold out on BB, but there is a very similar version, here). I wore it so much, I knew I needed to get the real diamond version. The diamond pendant is very special to me because I took a diamond from a ring that my grandparents gave to me on my 16th birthday and had it made into the necklace. I wasn't wearing the ring because it always gets mistaken for an engagement ring, so it just sat in my jewelry box.

The photos above are the before and after. I love the way the necklace turned out. A very dainty chain with a bezel setting keeps things simple. I plan on having a pearl placed inside the rose setting so I can still wear the ring!

I wear all of these pieces 24/7-- I really only take them off to shower. Sometimes, I'll forgo the monogram necklace, but the two rings, pearl studs, and diamond pendant always stay. Always. Do you have pieces that you always have on you? Are they special to you in some way? Have a fabulous day!

Yours,

I wear pearl studs, a similar diamond necklace, a watch, a plain gold bangle, my class ring, and a Cartier trinity ring everyday. I change it up really rarely!

Love your jewelry so much <3!!!!

Beautiful choices; I love bezel set diamonds! I do have a word of warning about putting a pearl in your ring; since they are relatively soft, it will be much, much more susceptible to scratching when on your hand versus ears or neck.

I thought that Cartier Love jewelry was meant to be given by a significant other?

I've noticed that beautiful diamond necklace that you've worn lately and had wondered where it was from because it looks so pretty paired with the monogram necklace! Love that it has special meaning to it too!

I always wear my pearl studs, my claddagh ring (which I was given when on my first visit to Ireland), my high school class ring, and my watch. It's always nice to switch things up, but it doesn't feel the same when I'm not wearing my standard jewelry!

I love your jewelry. I have been debating on getting a monogram necklace as well but I am also worried about the tarnish because I never take off my necklaces. I'm wondering why you don't get the 14K gold option at BB?

Thanks for sharing!

I also inherited a ring with a diamond set in a rose from my grandma and have been wondering what to do with it, I think I'm going to have it set in a pendant, great idea! I wear the same 4 pieces of jewelry every day - diamond studs (screw backs so it isn't even worth the hassle to change my earrings), my late father's vintage Thunderbird Oyster Datejust watch, my engagement ring and my wedding band. I only ever take off the watch, and that's bc it had an alligator band and can't get wet!

I love jewelry and the fact that it so often tells a story. I don't wear the same pieces every day, but I am married and I like to wear something from my husband and something from my parents everyday.

I adore these pieces. They are so classic and timeless! I always wear my pearl studs and a diamond ring that my parents gave me one Christmas. It is made from one of my mom's old pieces, so it is extra special!

I love that you turned the ring into a necklace...it means so much more that way. My everyday jewelry includes my clauddagh ring and my class ring from my high school. They're pieces that I simply cannot take off. Lovely post!

Try Ross Simons for the gold monogram necklace. Reasonably priced, good quality.

What a great post! I love jewelry stories and seeing what people wear every day. The only thing I really wear every day is my wedding band. But I wear my James Avery charm bracelet almost every day.

I don't know if you have Belks at home, but they started carrying monogram necklaces. They carry them in 14k, 18k, 14k white, and sterling silver. They are very reasonably priced and if you can catch one of their gold sales, they can't be beat. My body chemistry doesn't allow me to wear anything less than 14k gold and I wear most everything in gold, I had to hunt for a reasonably priced monogram necklace. They have either 3 or 4 different sizes and they are beautiful. I love mine and wear mine everyday!

I also wear pearl studs most everyday (I have a pair of starfish I wear some in the summer).

I love how you converted the diamond ring to the bezel set pendant and I think the ring setting will be perfect set with a pearl!

How do you keep your necklaces from getting tangled while you wear them? Mine always get so twisted up! Help!

I always wear my yellow sapphire Buddha necklace, which is from Thailand (where my mom's whole family is from). The setting and chain are 24K gold, so they never tarnish. I wear it in the shower, to sleep, every single day...only take it off if I am specifically wearing a different necklace, which doesn't happen all that often. (In high school, I had to take its predecessor off for sports, but that's it.)

On the other hand, I don't even wear my 3 rings (engagement, wedding, school) every day. Sports, piano playing, getting hands dirty, just being in a rush... I generally wear them whenever it's a "dress-up" occasion. Diamonds on prongs and keyboard glissandos don't mix! :)

Your jewelry collection screams stylish and classy. Each of them has their own beauty that makes them stand out. Anyway, I really like the rose ring, as well as the necklace. Anyway, thanks for sharing that, Sydney! Stay gorgeous!

I really like the gold ring and jewelry. I also used to wear some necklaces, earrings and rings in my daily life. Thank you sharing the everyday jewelry with us.

I admire your taste in jewellery. I myself have many similar pieces to you. Men often feel that jewellery needs to be glamorous and show-offish. It's great to see that your keeping practical with you style. If men ever tell you that your too plain, don't be ashamed to tell them that your the chooser of your own style.
