Black + Burberry

Jacket// Burberry Plaid Shirt
Denim// Chanel Bag (vintage via)
Ray Ban Aviators// Monogram Necklace
Gold Watch// Flats (old, similar)

The snow has almost entirely melted since these photos were taken last weekend! Thank goodness! I wore this for a Saturday of errands downtown, which turned into early afternoon drinks which turned into dinner. It was a great transition outfit and this jacket was all I needed in the 45 degree temps!

This denim is a new favorite pair (last wearing here) and also inexpensive. They're so easy to wear-- almost like leggings but a tad dressier. You last saw my Burberry shirt here during the summer, but I have worn it often during the winter, too. It's a great piece because it's easy to layer and perfect to transition throughout all 4 seasons.

I also just got this vintage Chanel bag. I saw it pop up on this site and knew I had to have it... I am thinking of it as an early 25th birthday present to myself (less than a month away... how am I that old?!?!). I have wanted a Chanel bag for so long. I can remember cutting photos out of magazines even in middle school of the gorgeous bags and dying for one. I love the chocolate bar style and Chanel unfortunately doesn't make this style anymore so I knew I had to scoop it up when it became available.... especially because it is so elegant and classic. Have a fabulous day!

Yours,

Gorgeous outfit! I hate to bring up money (it's in bad taste, I know!), but how did you afford that Chanel?! I am 21 and have been saving up for one. Did your family help you purchase it?

Gorgeous bag. I love that your shopping vintage. What quality level did you purchase and are you happy with it? Do they look really used? Any guidance is appreciated as I'd love to purchase one;)

Lucy, I don't normally shop vintage, so this was definitely new to me. I asked many people where they recommend I find a bag in perfect, priistine condition and they sent me to a few sites such as the real real and fashionphile. I found the bag that fit what I was looking for and sure enough, it arrived in pristine condition! You just have to look for ones that are in 'excellent' condition, that is the key in my opinion! Happy shopping :)
