Cashmere Wrap + Denim at Point State Park

This is one of those super comfortable and easy looks that pretty much works for anyone's personal style or body type, but the cashmere topper is what makes it perfect for fall as well as a touch cozier and chic-er.

I've been wearing a white blouse and jeans a lot lately... and really have always loved this simple, classic ensemble. It's polished and casual and works in a multitude of ways depending on how you accessorize. I'm also still trying to get some wear out of these opened toe booties. I cannot tell you how happy I have been with them. I constantly get compliments on them and they are SO comfortable!

I've featured these jeans on my blog last year and again already so many times. True Religion jeans are truly the best denim I have found that fits me. I love their dark wash skinny cuts and have stocked up when they go on sale. I am wearing a size 27 and have never had to have them tailored in any way. I usually wear a 27 in all jeans, so I'd say their sizing is very true to size!

These photos were shot at Pittsburgh's 'Point'. If you are unfamiliar with Pittsburgh, the point is the area downtown where the two rivers (Allegheny and Monongahela) meet to form the Ohio river. At the point, there is a large grassy area, aptly named, Point State Park. After the grassy area, there is a massive fountain that can bee seen even from Mt. Washington. The area is about 36ish acres and you can picnic there, take a walk, bike ride, etc. When the duck (see post here) was in town, this is where it 'lived'. It's especially stunning to go in the fall (see this image) when all of the foliage changes colors. I'll be sure to go back and snap some photos in a few weeks!

Point State Park is also great because this area is in walking distance to all the other great locations downtown. You can walk to the Cultural District to catch a show, walk across the bridge to a Pirate or Steelers game, go to have drinks at Hotel Monaco or the William Penn or even walk across the bridge and take the incline up to Mt. Washington. Really, your options are endless. I know some people even like to come down to Point State Park on their lunch break during the work week because usually there are food trucks parked all along the edges!

But my favorite part? You face one way and see a stunning fountain,  two rivers coming together to form a third, Heinz Field and Mt. Washington all in one view. Then, as you turn around, you're greeted with all of the iconic buildings that make up the Pittsburgh skyline. It makes you feel so small and makes you love the city even more. It's a must if you are to ever visit Pittsburgh! Have a fabulous day!

Love your cashmere wrap. Also, I find it interesting when you share places around Pittsburgh. I hope to plan a trip there one day in part because you have shared some of its real beauty with your readers.
