Devon Baer Ruffled Collar Tunic

I love a good ruffled collar. There is something so fun yet elegant about a high collar. Pair that with suede elbow patches and a navy windowpane print and I'm in love. I love Devon Baer tops and this one is no exception. It pairs casually with denim as seen above, but I also tuck the ruffled collar tunics into skirts for a dressier look!

There is also a plaid version which would be perfect for the holidays. I picture it paired with black velvet skinnies and a fun pump for a holiday party. The plaid version also comes as a dress which would make for a gorgeous Christmas dress!

I wore this for lunch with some girlfriends and it was a very seasonally appropriate fall look! The denim I am wearing is sold out in this exact wash, but I just ordered the same pair in a darker wash and dare I say, they fit even better and are even more comfortable. I really didn't think that was possible! They have a really nice stretch yet still keep their shape after hours of wear. The stretch makes them insanely comfortable and the dark wash makes them slightly dressier than your average denim. They run true to size; I am wearing a size 27. They're a little pricey, but they're worth the splurge, in my opinion!

My exact riding boots are sold out, but I've linked to two very similar pairs. But, if you are looking for more riding boot options, scroll through above to see some of my favorites. They are must for the fall/winter months and also make for a really nice Christmas present!

I am currently on the hunt for the perfect black pair, so if you have any suggestions, let me know! I'm also wondering what you all think of Over the Knee boots. It has been a reoccurring trend for the past few winter seasons. I'm not a huge fan, but I have come across a few pairs that are barely 'over the knee' that look really nice and I am considering them (like this pair). However, I sometimes think over the knee boots are far too trendy, hence not worth shelling out on the outrageous price tags (a lot are $600+!!), and they can also give off a 'cheap' or 'hooker' vibe when paired with the wrong outfits. Thoughts? Do you have a favorite pair? Have a fabulous day!

I have the 50/50 and the lowlands and I love them both. If you're looking for a more subtle option, I would do the 50/50 in black leather. They are classic and you can wear them forever!

I kept thinking the OTK boots would go away, but I think they are here to stay. I will be watching to see what you buy and how you style them. I do like the 50/50.

I agree with the commenter who recommended the 50/50 boots in black leather. I'd love a pair eventually because they play to the trend but they are classic and won't go out of style.
