Little Blue Dress + Straw Clutch on Hilton Head Island

I had such a fun time at the Sonesta Hilton Head! It was so great to catch up with the girls I hadn't seen in a while and enjoy the amazing weather. I got in late Friday and we went to an oyster roast on the property of Sonesta Hilton Head, more on that to come! Saturday morning we all got up, enjoyed an amazing massage at the Arum Spa and then got ready for the day spent at the Hilton Head Food and Wine Festival. It was SO warm and gorgeously sunny-- it felt like it was June! We enjoyed some food and wine and walked around the different tented areas.

The area was so beautiful where all of the tents were set up. It was right on the water at Sea Pines Resort in Harbour Town. It was so fun to watch the sailboats and yachts pull in and out of the harbour as we sipped our wine! I found a really great sparkling wine that I love-- and it is inexpensive, too! It's Le Grand Noir Brut Reserve, it was crisp and dry with lots of bubbles and an easy finish!

I wore this little blue dress for the occasion and just loved the effortless look. The tweed material is so luxe and beautiful. The texture of the fabric and the pleating of the skirt is what really makes it stand out! I think this dress could work for a multitude of situations. From work to church to a party, it is very versatile. I paired the dress with a small clutch, gold cuff, and Jack Rogers sandals. Since we did a lot of walking, the Jack Rogers were key, but the dress looks fabulous with wedges and heels, too! I think it would look really great with a fun statement necklace to dress it up!

You can never go wrong with a classic navy dress! Looked like it was such a fun weekend in HHI! The new Harbour Town club house is the perfect backdrop too :) I'm headed there in a couple weeks for the Heritage golf tournament and always love spending time in Harbour Town because of it's fun and relaxed atmosphere!
