Lately 6/16/16

Wearing: My black and gold to celebrate the Pittsburgh Penguins on winning the Stanley Cup! It was SO amazing to be downtown in the thick of the action with 400,000+ other Pittsburgh fans during the parade. Truth be told, I'm not the biggest hockey fan, but I am most definitely a Pittsburgh sports fan! If you are reading this in the morning, you can watch the action on my snapchat:SummerWind41490.

Watching: My sister and I have been hanging out a lot now that she is a college graduate! She introduced me to Wayard Pines, a TV series, and I am hooked. It's a little sci-fi (ish) and addicting! It somewhat reminds me of the book, The Giver. You can watch it on Amazon Prime or On Demand (but both still require you to pay, which is annoying!). Just as a warning, it's pretty creepy, so if you get scared easily, don't watch it at night by yourself!

Eating: Did you catch my post on low (refined) carb meal ideas? I have loved some of the snapchats you have all sent me making some of the things I've suggested!!

Drinking: If you like tonic water, I definitely suggest Fever Tree. It's SO good. Definitely better than anything I've ever had before! I also love their ginger beer!

Loving: This Sun Bum Beach Formula Shine On. It feels like serum and you apply a few drops to damp hair. Not only do I think it works nicely, but I LOVE the smell. It smells like old school sunscreen! When it dries, the scent is not overpowering!

Reading: This article about the newly renovated (infamous) Watergate hotel. The rooftop bar looks so chic and fun!

Wanting: Loving all of the pieces in the widget above!

Recommending: I told you all last week how annoying my glass cook top is to keep clean and a wonderful reader suggested this Weiman glass cook top cleaner! I placed an order and am (weirdly) so excited to clean my cooktop now, haha!

Pittsburgh-ing: My sister took the above pic when we went to dinner the other night at Bill's Burger Bar. It's steps away from me and I always walk past. It has such a cute little outdoor seating area and always looks busy. We had actually walked to Gaucho because we are dying to try it out, but the line was out the door, so we headed to Bill's! Callie's sliders were just OK, but my burger was incredible. Not to mention the sweet potato waffle fries were the best I've ever had. If you are in the Pittsburgh area, I definitely recommend it!

Decorating: Check out this week's post for a mini update and my favorite throws

Listening: I recently made a 'Summer' playlist. It has a lot of classic rock on it and some Bob Marley, Beach Boys, etc.! Great for a fun day lounging at the pool!

Quoting: "And love is love is love is love is love is love is love is love cannot be killed or swept aside."-Lin-Manuel Miranda

I love the quote you picked, it is so perfect for right now. I also love that gold and pearl bracelet, so classic! Thanks for sharing!
