Lately 6/9/16

Jean Jacket (under $100)// Lace Romper

Reading: I was a huge Laguna Beach junkie in high school, so it really brightened my day seeing one of my outfits included on Lauren Conrad's website! You can read the full post, here, I'm in great company with the other stylish ladies!

Wanting: Loving all of the pieces in the widget above! There have finally been some new arrivals being released at some of my favorite retailers!

Watching: Have you checked out my very 'homemade' video of my trip to SF/Napa? It's up on YouTube!

Watching II: I saw Me Before You this weekend and my first thoughts: Neville Longbottom is a babe. No really. He's in the movie as a supporting character and is SO cute! Other than that, I was entirely underwhelmed. It left me bored and left a TON of the book details out. If you are considering seeing it, I would say go for it, but don't expect much.

Listening: My June playlist is going strong! I am obsessed with this song... it's a remix of one of my favorites but made way more upbeat!

Drinking: I love going to Eddie Merlot's in Pittsburgh. It's only a few blocks from me now and the other night I met my parents there! I had already eaten, so I ordered a 'dessert' in drink form. It was steaming hot black coffee with Bailey's and Godiva Dark Chocolate liqueur. To say it is incredible is an understatement. And you could totally make it at your next get together because of how easy it is! I think they'll be great around the holidays with a peppermint stick for garnish!

Eating: I've really been on a super healthy eating kick lately. I do really well, but then fail because I make brownies, cookies, etc. But I've been really working on not ordering take out or eating out. I feel so much healthier when I make my own food. I have a ton of recipes I've been saving up to share in one big post, so be sure to be on the lookout for that. They're nothing groundbreaking, but all simple, healthy, delicious, as well as satisfying. As a side note, I have a glass cooktop stove and have never experienced one before until now. I really don't like it. I was really excited about it because I love that it is almost like added counter space when it's not in use and it also looks very sleek and clean. However, it is impossible to keep sparkling clean, and I feel like it just doesn't work as well as a non-glass cooktop. So my tip, if you are looking at stoves, skip the glass tops!

Quoting: 'I hope to arrive to my death, late, in love, and a little drunk.'

Sydney, this romper is adorable on you. I love white outfits for summer and of course the DY bracelets go with everything. Just ealized you're also a Frank Sinatra lover. I have Frank Sinatra station on my Pandora on all day long, it just puts me in a good mood and it reminds me of listening to his tunes on Sundays back in Ecuador with my dad.

Why can't I see the whole post? It loads briefly, and then it ends right after the lace romper outfit.

Ditto on Casey's comment - the post isn't viewable, unfortunately!
