Barbour x Wedgwood: The Perfect Jacket for Fall (with full Sizing Review and Guide) via Tuckernuck

Sunglasses// Tank Watch // Monogrammed Bucket Bag

I am SO excited about the Barbour x Wedgwood collection available exclusively at Tuckernuck. Not only is Barbour one of my all-time favorite brands, but a waxed jacket is most definitely a timeless fall staple. I also love Wedgwood, which is English Bone China. When I moved into my new place, I chose a gorgeous blue and white Wedgwood pattern, so this is really right up my alley!

This is quite a bold statement, but if I could only choose one online shop, Tuckernuck would be it. Each season I love practically every single item that they carry. It almost feels as if the site was curated just for me-- but with plenty of options!

I did a pretty extensive review on Snapchat (SummerWind41490) when the jacket first arrived, but for those not following along on Snapchat, here it goes! You last saw this full outfit, here. Since it's not yet cool enough for a jacket, I just added the jacket over top of my outfit so you could all see it on and how it wears!

As a heads up, this is my 3rd Barbour jacket... and there is a very good reason as to why this is my go-to brand for outerwear. Each is a splurge and an investment, but so well worth it in my opinion.

This jacket is almost identical to the classic Beadnell. It's made from the classic waxed cotton which is great for wearing when it is raining/wet outside, not to mention it helps to block out the wind, too. The lining is navy blue with blue Wedgwood fabric touches throughout. I love that the lining is quilted for extra warmth and comfort. The collar is the classic corduroy and when you turn the collar up, it is lined with Wedgwood fabric, as are the inside flaps of the pockets, the button placket down the front, and the sleeves.

Barbour typically fits in a boxy manner, however, I love that the Catherine jacket is fitted and has a longer length than say, the Bedale style. There are tons of pockets, too (which make it the absolute perfect tailgating jacket!!). Hint: the below pockets fit an entire bottle of champagne ;) and you can warm your hands in the perfectly placed warmer pockets (when it's super cold, I add in hand warmers to these pockets!). Plus, there is an interior zipped pocket which is perfect for storing money/tickets/etc. The double snaps on the lower back portion of the jacket are originally there for those who ride horseback, but they're great for sitting in general!

Now onto sizing. This can be confusing/tough since Barbour cuts their jackets in all different ways depending on the style. Not to mention, they are in UK sizes and then converted to US sizes. I almost always size up in Barbour (except for the Bedale which runs large and boxy!!). I typically wear a size small or 2 or 4 in all tops/jackets/etc. In the Catherine jacket, I got a US size 6, which is a UK 10. The way it is cut means that it still looks fitted, but there's wiggle room inside should I want to wear a heavy sweater or vest underneath. Layering with Barbour is the way to go since the jacket is not warm enough for 20 degrees... but can be worn in the dead of winter as long as you are layering!

Are you loving the Barbour x Wedgwood collection as much as I am?!
