Lately 10/6/16

Woah, woah, woah... it's OCTOBER! We are 3/4 of the way through 2016. I truly can't believe it. Time flies when you're having fun! With that said, I've been holding back on all things fall-related in an effort to savor September and not rush things, but now that we are a week into October, I'm ready for ALL THE PUMPKINS (and leaves changing colors, pumpkin pie, cozy sweaters and booties, trick or treating and talk of the upcoming holiday season). YAY!

Vest (on sale!)// Sweater// Striped Shirt// Jeans
Pittsburgh-ing: I was browsing online on Tuesday night and came across this AdWeek article. Talk about good timing. I made plans with some friends to meet for coffee the next morning at drumroll.... Luke's Diner! It was really at Big Dog Coffee in the South Side, which I have never been to before but am now a huge fan because it's TOO cute. You need to read the article to get the specifics, but I basically think whoever did the marketing for this is pure genius. Seriously, what a good campaign. I'm a HUGE Gilmore Girls fan. I think it's one of the best shows ever and I'm super excited for the revival. Anyone else majorly excited?!

Watching: This trailer was just released for Jackie starring Natalie Portman. So excited to see this!

Loving: I found an exact high-quality dupe of my Chanel flats and they're on sale right now for $100. I get so much wear out of these shoes. They're such a classic. However, you don't need to fork over a ton of money to get the same look!
Loving II: Speaking of exact dupes, I found a bezel set solitaire necklace that looks identical to my diamond necklace that I always wear (and it's priced at under $55!). I am constantly asked where I got my necklace and while the necklace was custom made at a jeweler, there are lesser priced versions online that will give you the same look!

Listening: You guys, I am OBSESSED with this song. Such a catchy, upbeat, feel-good song! I also started on my October playlist and it's really good so far. Embedding it in today's post so you can have a listen even if you don't have Spotify!
Wanting: All the sweaters. All the plaid. All the cashmere, please and thank you.

Wearing: This is the best $20 I've ever spent. Seriously, I've never worn a more comfortable pair of lounge pants in my entire life. The fabric is so stretchy and soft. I sized up for even more comfort (they're not really for wearing outside of the house). I got the gray shade in store, but just placed an order for the black pair. Amazing.

Listening: October's playlist is now live and chugging along. I'm trying to be a little more selective this month because September's got a little out of hand!

Quoting: 'Leave everything a little better than when you found it.' // See more of my favorites, here

HELP! I need a cute flannel shirt for an upcoming trip west but can't find anything that is tailored looking and not boyish boxy!

Those Gilmore Girls pop-up coffee shops are so cool! What a creative marketing campaign! (Sadly, there were only two shops in my entire state and neither were in particularly convenient locations, so I missed it.) I can't wait for the new series, especially after that new teaser that Netflix put out the other day; Gilmore Girls is also one of my all-time favorite shows.
