Happy happy holiday weekend! I hope everyone had a great week and is excited to celebrate the last weekend of summer! I hope to get in some great meals, spend time with friends and family, and lounge by the pool to get in a little tan before it's time for sweaters and booties.

Today I'm sharing this Parisian inspired look that's perfect for transitioning into this not-yet-fall, not-really-summer time period. Talbots' entire fall line is inspired by Paris and that has me SO excited because I'm headed to Paris this fall

I received some of the pieces from the collection and they're so cute! This Au Revoir tee is a great basic crew-neck cotton tee but is embellished with beads. It really takes it up another level, don't you think?

I've also been reaching for my jean jacket lately since it has been so chilly here in Pittsburgh! It's such a classic, easy to wear piece. I wore this outfit to grab tacos one weeknight, and we were lucky enough to snap these photos right before it absolutely down poured (as you can see the  dark clouds in the background of the photos!).  This stretch of walkway along the river is one of my absolute favorite things about downtown Pittsburgh. I've been utilizing it a lot lately. It's just so picturesque and fun to walk down the trail.

Right now, Talbots is having a huge up to 80% off sale and you can take an extra 15% off marked down pieces. Such a great sale to take advantage of. Both my red handbag (such amazing quality) and my tee are on sale! Check back tomorrow to see more amazing Labor Day sales!

I'm from Houston and am directly effected by hurricane Harvey. I also fallow several bloggers but Summewind is my absolute favorite. And after Wednesday's post I can see why. The other bloggers I follow I have seen in photos with Ms.Carver on multiple occasions and so I know they all communicate in the same circles. Yet she is the only one at all concerned with her fellow Americans affected by such catastrophe. I am truly ashamed at the other people still concerned with the fall fashion rather than others well being. I am ashamed to follow them. One of which is from Dallas but I guess sine she was not effected it really doesn't apply to her life. Summerwind is a true testament to the American spirit, and to the other , shame on your selfishness
