Shop the Look:

Can you believe we are practically halfway through May, already? I honestly can't believe it and I'm fully ready to embrace a summer-state-of-mind.

I think one of the best ways to feel like you are on vacation, while not actually being on vacation is to sport some Lilly Pulitzer (this is not sponsored). Lilly has been a go-to in my summer wardrobe for years and it's not hard to say why. There is just something so happy and easy-going about Lilly Pulitzer and it's hard not to feel that way when you're wearing the clothes! Does anyone else feel that way?

Today I wanted to share this Jane shift with you all because I truly think it might be one of my favorite Lilly shift dresses of all time. I love the texture of the lace and how the coral is actually part of the lace and not a print! When you see it up close (you can kind of tell in photo #2), it looks like a work of art. The detail in this dress is incredible. From the embroidered mandarin collar to the colorful tassels, and the hidden zipper with gold bamboo pull, it's hard not to be mesmerized.

Another great thing about this shift and most of Lilly's shifts, in general, is that you can dress it up or down. I've styled it in this post as I would wear it any day... but with a great pair of espadrille wedges, fun earrings, and a cute clutch, you've got a great dress for any occasion. It's also insanely comfortable because it's roomier than a typical shift dress. I'd suggest sizing down if you are in between sizes. I am wearing a size 2!

I have been wearing this dress not only because I think it is beautiful but because it really makes me feel more at ease. Which I know sounds a little ridiculous, but it makes me feel like there are no worries and I can just relax with a cocktail in hand. Feeling great is half the battle, right?!

My grammie's birthday is next week (see last year's birthday post) and I plan on wearing this dress again for the dinner to celebrate! The perfect party dress, that's for sure! Do you have any Lilly Pulitzer favorites lately? I'd love to know! I am eyeing this linen button down, this tennis skirt, and this navy maxi

Lilly dresses always make me feel lik eon vacation too! I have the Callisto dress, which has a similar neck line, and I love it. This looks like the perfect new one for spring! I love the tassels!

I worked for lilly pulitzer for 2 years and it was my all time favorite job!! You are right, something about a lilly dress just makes the day more fun! Made for very unrealistic expectations for my work life LOL

Love this Lilly dress! Unfortunately most Lilly dresses are too short for me. #sadness
