The Tryall Club, Sandy Bay Jamaica

The Tryall Club, Sandy Bay Jamaica
Dress coming soon!
I shared with you all on Tuesday why we were in Jamaica and you can read that, here. So today, I wanted to share more details about where we were staying and shooting the Draper James Collections! The Tryall Club is about 30 minutes from Montego Bay (and the airport). The accommodations are unlike most hotels and resorts as they are mostly compromised of privately-owned luxury villas situated right into the hills and at the shoreline of Sandy Bay.

The entire property is jaw-droppingly gorgeous. Everywhere you look, you'll see lush greenery and florals. Each villa has its own fleet of golf carts which is how you navigate the winding hills of The Tryall Club. On property, there are so many things to do like tennis, golf, a restaurant, and more!

But, you don’t have to wander far from your room to enjoy the insane views from your villa! Each villa is fully staffed and since they are privately owned, each one looks different! The decor in our villa was stunning.

We stayed at Create Abundance which was nestled high up on the hill and overlooked the ocean. We had such an incredible view and were positioned just-so that you could actually see the curvature of the earth on the horizon. Create Abundance can sleep up to 20 people and we each had our own gorgeously appointed rooms. Think designer printed fabrics, an entire outdoor living/dining/sitting area where you can see the incredible panoramic views of the ocean.

If you don't have that big of a group, there are many other villas at The Tryall Club to choose from. We were fortunate enough to be able to see a few of the other villas while we were there- and actually shot some of the Draper James looks at different villas! One we visited was situated right on the ocean and another had the most incredible views of the rolling Jamaican hills!

This was what I saw out of my bedroom! There were french doors that opened right up to this patio area and view. It was so nice to watch the sunset!

The living area and dining areas are all connected and open-air! It was such a treat to wake up for breakfast and be seated with the most amazing views!

I just about died over all of the gorgeous fabrics and antiques used in this villa. Everything had a very traditional southern vibe but with some fun tropical twists.

The formal dining room is where we ate dinner! The staff set the table beautifully and prepared a delicious dinner for us each night and I have to say that the Jamaican Jerk Chicken was my favorite!

The entire villa is huge and has so many great seating vignettes that accommodated all of us so easily. It even had a gorgeous chandelier and at night, it was dazzling!

This was the master bed and bath. I loved the canopied bed and the giant bathtub! We shot these pajamas in the master!

To say we were spoiled was an understatement! But, it wasn't all fun and games as we got down to work to shoot some of the gorgeous Draper James pieces! You've already seen the first launch, so I'll share the second launch with you all when that comes out in June!

If you are ever in Jamaica, I highly recommend The Tryall Club. Luxury, gorgeous decor, incredible views, and top notch service! Ready to book my flight back now!

How far were you from the beach? Can you drive golf carts to the beach? We are planning an island vacation in the fall with a group of friends. Jamaica is one of the islands we are considering.

Luna, we were not even a 5-minute golf cart ride to the beach! Super quick and easy and the villas have the golf carts for you to use!
