Gift Guide 2019: For the Host and Hostess (under $50)

Gift Guide 2019: For the Host and Hostess (under $50)
Shop the Post:

So we are going to take a break from wedding content this holiday season to do gift guides! Today's gift guide is for the host and hostess and everything is under $50 and most are a lot less! I love to do this one early to kick things off because host/hostess gifts can actually be great year-round and especially as we lead up to Thanksgiving!

I am a big believer in shopping early. Especially because companies and brands have started a lot of their sales already. Thanksgiving is late this year and because a lot of the sales are already live, there's really no point in waiting anymore. It's so nice to be able to get as much done before you're really in the thick of the season so you can really sit back and enjoy as we approach Christmas. I already have some gifts for people wrapped and ready to go. But I started shopping the day after last Christmas :)

I talk a lot about how I have a stash of gifts so if I need a last-minute gift, I have a storage bin filled with great host/hostess gift ideas. I think a nice bottle of wine is always a great option, but I think an actual small gift feels a bit more thoughtful!

I put a lot of time and effort into curating these gift guides each year. I really try to think out of the box to find interesting, affordable and useful products that are (hopefully) different from a lot of the other typical gift guides you can find around the internet, so I really hope you all enjoy!!!

Cocktail Napkins// How fun are these? So fun and so quirky for a host/hostess that has it all! I absolutely love linen cocktail napkins!

Sephora Sleep Set// This set is currently 20% off with code HOLIDAYSAVE for Rouge members. Starting tomorrow 11/17, VIB members can get 15% off using the same code. This set is beautiful, elegant, and such a great price compared to the Slip brand!

Insulated Travel Mug + Starbucks  Gift Card// I honestly can't believe this travel mug is just $10. My fiancĂ© found this brand and ordered us a few of these insulated mugs and they are SO nice for the price. We have Yeti brand mugs, too, and they are exactly comparable. Starbucks cards are always a good idea and an easy add-on!

Sponges + Dish Soap// These are my favorite sponges- they are anti-microbial, never smell, don't scratch, and hold up so well. I rave about these to everyone. Nice dish soap and a sponge or two wrapped in cellophane tied with a pretty bow makes a cute little gift!

Puzzle// I just think this puzzle is so cute and it's a fun gift for those who have children.

Friends Playing Cards// These are so funny and perfect for the Friends fan in your life (cough, me, cough)!

Monogrammed Coasters// I have these and they are a splurge but they are something truly special!

Ginger Jar Ornaments// They have a pricier set ($75 set of 6, so $12.50 each) at Williams Sonoma (which is beautiful) but this set is just $30 for 3, making them $10 each and you don't have to commit to 6. Hang on a wine bottle or tie onto a wrapped gift for an added touch for the blue and white lover.

Boxwood Wreath// I have had some people bring over potted and plants to my house which is so sweet. This wreath is inexpensive and will look adorable with anyone's decor!

Nylon iPhone Charger Flat USB Plug// who doesn't need more chargers and plugs?! Again, wrap in cellophane and tie with a bow and voila! We have flat USB plugs and LOVE them. They make such a difference.

Enamelware Cocktail Shaker + Margarita Salt// Such a fun little gift for the margarita/tequila lover in your life. Add a bottle of tequila, too, if you really want to be extra!

Monogrammed Cachepot + Flowers from Trader Joe's// This is such a cute little cachepot and will look great with inexpensive flowers from Trader Joe's!

Here are some past hostess gift idea posts, too!
