Shopbop Sale Picks With Full Reviews/Fit Information

I've never done a post like this before, but my Shopbop sale order arrived so quickly and I've honestly never been so pleased with everything I ordered. I love absolutely every piece. So tonight I'll share how each piece fits in case you haven't had a chance to shop the sale yet! These are just super quick iPhone pics that I snapped as I tried things on... the sun was setting so the lighting is not the best, either, so bear with me! You can also check out my Snapchat story (SummerWind41490) where I also shared some pics of the pieces (and some video).

This dress is something I purchased on a whim in an effort to update my closet with something 'young and fun'. I am so not a fan of cutouts and thought I'd hate it once I tried it on. But lo and behold, I am IN LOVE. This is my favorite out of everything I got. I am wearing a size 2 and it fits like a glove. I'd say size up if you have a larger chest. If you are in between sizes, I suggest choosing the smaller size. It's also lined and made of a nice lightweight linen, but it doesn't feel like it will wrinkle in a suitcase and came right out of the packaging without a wrinkle!

Circle Dress (under $90)

This is my second favorite pick out of the bunch. I don't think this photo even does the dress justice! This was another one that I was on the fence about when I ordered. I love the grosgrain straps, the navy color, the ruffled hem, and the white circle pattern, but I was a little concerned that the cut of the dress could be boring. However, I love it! The ruffle is so much fun and the cut is just right without looking too 'sack-like'. I am in a size small and would say it runs true to size, if you are between sizes, size down!

This top was a splurge for me, but it is so. much. fun. It definitely runs big, so I highly suggest sizing down, and if you are small in the chest, size down two sizes. I am in a size xs and it fits, but I bet if they made a size smaller than that (they don't) that I'd fit into that as well. Those who truly wear an xs, the xs in this will most likely be too big on you. The top is stunning because it has a beautiful woven  basketweave texture and the grosgrain straps are a special touch. This top with the way it flares out is most definitely a show stopper. I paired it with pixie pants in the photo, but really love it with white denim for summer.

Striped Dress  (under $90)

Ok, I'm also so in love with this one (can you tell that's a theme in tonight's post?!). It's under $90, so I kind of expected it to be poorly made, but I was totally wrong. It's beautiful and has a very nautical vibe. Despite the horizontal stripes, it is very slimming and the tie in the front can actually be undone. I tied it in the back for a completely different look on Snapchat (SummerWind41490) and it looks like a different dress! I am wearing a size small and would say it's very true to size!

Boyfriend Shorts  (sweater is Anthropologie from last year)

I've been wanting these exact shorts for a few summers but have always hesitated because of the price tag.. and also because my traditional family (aka my mom, dad, grammie, etc.) all hate ripped jeans and definitely don't love when I wear them out in public. However, I just love the casual vibe. I have one other pair of denim shorts and I wear them to death. These are meant to be a boyfriend fit, but some of the reviews said to size 2 sizes down. I normally wear a 27 in jeans, so I ordered a 25. The 25 fits perfectly, but I'll be glad when they stretch out a little more for a more relaxed/boyfriend look.

This is a cute, basic coverup. I wanted a blue shade to go with some new suits I ordered so this will be nice to throw on while poolside. I can't say this is anything mindblowing or special, but it's just exactly what I was looking for!

Pleated Dress (under $80)

I love the country club tennis vibe this dress has going on, but the silky fabric kicks it up a notch and the grosgrain stripe adds some depth and interest. It's definitely a great dress for the price and it's not see through, which is something I was concerned about. It is short, though. I am wearing a size small and am 5'5", if I was any taller, I don't think it would work. I think if you are short, this dress would work beautifully for you because you definitely wouldn't have to get it hemmed!
