Next up on the Monday agenda... let's talk costume jewelry. I can't get enough of it! The lovely ladies at Mimi's sent me several pretty pieces and I need to share the fun with you! The pieces are very inexpensive and mimic trendy, pricier pieces. They are the perfect addition to any outfit, and with the great prices, choosing several is a no-brainer.
This leather wrap bracelet ($18) is my favorite piece that Mimi's sent moi! It is not something I would necessarily pick out for myself, but it reminds me a bit of Hermes.
I added an orange J. Crew enamel bangle and a gold link chain for a fun arm party. The leather mixed with the metals added great texture!
This is another fun leather wrap bracelet ($9). I love that it wraps several times... it makes a complete arm party all by itself! Both of the leather wrap bracelets are a steal. At such low prices, I was skeptical of the quality, but these are really nice and don't look or feel overly "cheap".
Because I either always wear my monogram necklace or pearls, I never spend much on statement necklaces. While I love looking at them and have fun wearing them, I always seem to grab the classics when it comes to necklaces. This piece ($40) is gorgeous. It is a standout piece and looks so great with a tan. I paired it with a simple DKNY silk shell and white J. Crew shorts and received many compliments. The outfit looked too plain and boring with my usual necklaces so this was the absolute perfect piece.
These earrings ($15) are definitely the perfect neutral statement earring. I have yet to wear these because they are a bit dressy, but I just got a cute lace dress from Nordstrom and the earrings and dress together make a great outfit. I was watching an episode of "The Pitch" the other day and the woman in the episode that worked for one of the agencies was wearing the above earrings!
This bold cuff is a statement piece because of how thick it is. The best part? It's $5! I think these would make fun party favors. I haven't worn this yet, but plan to pair it with a Talbots sequined tee and also with simple outfits to add some interest.
Have you shopped Mimi's? What is your favorite piece? Have a fabulous day!
