Summercamp Hotel on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts

Summercamp Hotel on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts

A few weeks ago, I was invited to stay at Summercamp Hotel, a Lark Hotel located in the Oak Bluffs neighborhood of Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. This was my first visit to Summercamp Hotel as well as Martha's Vineyard, and I already want to plan my next visit! It was the perfect spot for a girls' trip with Katie, Kendall, and Carly! I don't get to see them enough since they all live in New York City, so I was glad to get a few days to spend with them! I'll be sharing a lot more of my trip to come, but today I'm sharing details on where we stayed!

Summercamp Hotel was originally the Wesley Hotel (which originated in 1879!!) but has since been renovated into a quirky oasis. The hotel has 95 rooms, which makes it the largest ocean-front hotel on the island!

Many of the architectural elements were kept in tact from the 1800's, which you can really see on the exterior of the hotel! The interior design is something to marvel. As soon as you walk into Summercamp, you feel like every single detail was well-curated and thought out (and it was by Rachel Reider and her design team!). To say it's 'perfect' would be an understatement. The little touches throughout, such as the tennis rackets on the wall, really created a playful, vibrant atmosphere. And how cute are the keys that they give you upon check-in? The girls and I were just loving the fun sayings!

Our rooms were huge. We were staying on the bottom floor and our many windows looked right out onto the gorgeous harbor. I loved all of the natural light that would come in each morning as well as the sunset that we could watch directly from our windows! Our room had a great little sitting area, where we would often enjoy our coffee (complimentary) and catch up on e-mails (complimentary WiFi!).

Our room also had two TVs as well as two speaker systems that charged our iPhones. The TVs were key for watching the Bachelorette on Monday night and the speakers were great to play music while we would get ready each morning.

Our bed was insanely cozy. We woke up pretty early each morning because we really wanted to make the most of each day, but it was so hard getting out of our giant, comfy bed!

One of the best features, in my opinion, was the grand, wrap-around porch. Guests gathered on the porch all throughout the day, so it was great to be able to mingle with others as well as take in the harbor views (seriously, how gorgeous is that view?!). I also thought it was really nice that there was plenty of seating areas for everyone. Whether you sat in a cute rocking chair of lounged in one of the sofa/seating sections, there was a great place to park yourself and relax... and that's what a great vacation is all about, right? A big thank you to Lark Hotels and Summercamp Hotel for hosting us for an unforgettable girls' trip!
