Lately

We are off to Charleston!

Almost to another weekend. WOO! I hope you all had a wonderful week. We are off to Charleston for a little Valentine's getaway that my husband planned. I am so excited to just relax and enjoy the sun, warmer temperatures, and good food!

This past weekend was fun as we headed up to the mountains (about an hour outside of Pittsburgh) for a ski weekend. The conditions were not great, but the day was so gorgeous- about 40 degrees and sunny, so we just soaked it up and got in a bunch of slushy runs. My sister and brother-in-law came up for the weekend and my parents joined as well. It's literally my definition of happiness when all six of us are together.

Wearing: I am so glad they brought back this Loose Fit Polo Shirt. I have it in both pink and white and wear it so often in the warmer months. It is definitely roomy, as the name suggests, and looks great paired with an athletic skort. I wear it to golf, pickleball, or even just to walk Henry around the neighborhood. I also tend to layer the white with non-athletic outfits, like underneath a cardigan. I like pink paired with white jeans for a simple, classic outfit. I am going to snag the navy for this year! I think it will look darling with white linen shorts and pants! I wear a size small, and I like the fit, but if you want a more polished fit, size down one size.

Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK!

Eating: Boy do I want to make this lemony boursin pasta with artichokes and capers. Sounds absolutely heavenly and also seems pretty darn easy!

Drinking: I told you all about the Naked Wines subscription last week, where you can use my link and get 6 bottles for $39.99 and free shipping. I brought this cabernet, also in my box, to our mountain weekend, and we all loved it. My parents brought a bottle of white wine from the box they ordered and enjoyed it- I'm not a big white wine gal.

Watching:
I CANNOT WAIT for a new Apple TV show, Palm Royale. You can watch the trailer here. It's 1960s Palm Beach fashion goodness! I'm marking my calendar for a March 20th premiere!

Loving: The Lilly Pulitzer new arrivals are SO good. Wow, the shoes!!!!! I'm so looking forward to our Mexico trip this spring with all our family and friends for a wedding so I'm constantly keeping an eye out for fun tropical pieces!

Wanting:
This green dress is mod perfection! If you have a spring break trip planned somewhere warm, this dress is adorable! Wear it as a swimsuit coverup by day and transition to night with fun sandals or espadrilled wedges and a little clutch! I ordered this short sleeve cable sweater in both pink and cream and am awaiting the arrival! At under $30, I figured why not and give it a try!

Pittsburgh: My birthday is in April, and I'm trying to come up with a fun dinner idea for the occasion. I haven't been to Lilith yet- have any of you? A good celebration spot? Pusadee's is my favorite and always a good choice, but I've been so many times at this point, I think I may want to switch it up. I'm also considering Balvanera because it's so delish! Have you all seen Golden Gai? It's not open yet, but I'm keeping my eye on it because it looks insanely good. The bento boxes kind of remind me of Sugarfish, which I love! Sushi is my favorite food. Also, the Novo Asian Food Hall in the strip looks like it will be great. Can't find the opening dates for many of these newer places but I'm excited nonetheless. Shake Shack is also supposed to open in the Terminal building but no word on the opening date for that either!

Amazon Rec: The prettiest pink earrings under $100!

You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!

Amazon Rec II: I really love these gold hoop earrings that are under $20! The quality for the price is fantastic and they're a nice subtle gold statement!

Smelling: I was recently sent this perfume as a Valentine's Day treat from Ralph Lauren, and I am absolutely loving it. I wore Ralph Lauren Romance in high school and forgot about it, but this is a newer scent. This still has the fresh floral, citrusy bergamot scent to it but with a warmer base of patchouli, sandalwood, and cedarwood. It smells sophisticated but fresh at the same time.

Traveling: We come home for two nights after our Charleston trip and then go off on another fun Valentine's adventure and another ski trip with family and friends later this month so there is lots to look forward to. I seriously think this winter is flying by and as much as I hate to wish time away, I like that we are headed toward more daylight and warmer temps. Honestly, this winter has been very mild, so I shouldn't be complaining! I'm also so thankful my parents are around to house-sit/watch Henry!

You should visit Tijon on King Street while in Charleston. You are able to take a class and curate your own personal perfume. Great date option! Two of my cousins own the shop. They also have really fun local gifts.

If you're a sushi fan, I cannot recommend Mola more highly! Their restaurant is tiny, but the omakase could be a fun birthday treat.
