I have totally redecorated my room in the past few months. I was so bored of pink and green and felt like I needed an adult upgrade. Since then, I've ditched the pink and green and have chosen navy and white with touches of silver and gold. I love it. It's a tad manly, but that's actually what I was going for.
I got my white bedding with a silver border from RueLaLa. Every once in a while they have some great sales. I couldn't be happier with it. I know white is hard to keep clean, but I am working on not drinking coffee in bed (I said I'm working on it...).
I searched high and low for navy blue euro shams but finally ended up with ones from Target until I can find the perfect ones. I would ideally like the above Ralph Lauren tapestry euro shams but they are from a past collection and I cannot track them down anywhere.
I am totally into interior design and could browse Pinterest all day; however, I am just getting started. What are some tips as you redecorate? Any great resources for navy and white decor? Have a fabulous day!
I love the navy! We are actually in the middle of painting our bedroom and I decided on a blue color scheme- pale blue walls with darker touches of navy. I found two gorgeous Ralph Lauren lamps at TJ Maxx that are the perfect mix of masculine blue and feminine floral pattern!
Love your bedding! I did the same post college. I used to have soft pink bedding and almost like a French country look. Especially now living with a boy I had to switch it up and went with navy and white!
I love navy for bedrooms! My last room concept at my parents house was modeled after Katherine's navy room from the movie Cruel Intentions. Years later, and now married our current bedroom lacks direction, its mostly white... with piles of laundry as accents. Your post has inspired me to bring the navy back!
The vintage Ralph Lauren Shams are for sale on Etsy. In fact, you use the exact same picture from the listing. I think they are beautiful and they're still available.

Beautiful! How did you monogram the navy, isn't it a down throw/duvet? (it looks like it) Usually feathers leak when you do that..... www.shotgunsandpearls.blogspot.com

Loving the navy! I feel like it's so easy to make it turn into a "boys" room, but you've done a great job keeping it classy!
Rue La La has some wonderful finds! I love the white bedding!

I love the navy! I'm most likely moving in with my parents after graduation in May, and I am slowly starting to make my room more grown-up!
