If you've been reading Summer Wind for a while, then you'll know that I am really into menswear for women. I love men's shirts, sweaters... really anything.
A few weeks ago I wore a french cuff shirt (it was a women's shirt). Truth-be-told, when I bought it, I had no idea it had french cuffs. So it's a good thing my dad has about a million pairs of cuff links to choose from because I found myself scrambling around trying to find some at 7am before work one morning.
The ones I chose, my grandparents had given to my dad when he was in high school so I felt even cooler that my cuff links had a story. Anyway, it was fun to wear something that I had literally never worn before.
So where do you find French cuff shirts for women? Brooks Brothers, duhhhh. Ok, so not so duh, if I didn't already have one, I would have had no clue.
So now I want my own cuff links, monogrammed, of course. Where does one get those? Brooks Brothers saves the day once again.
Have you ever worn a french cuff shirt? Do you have your own cuff links? Have a fabulous day!
Yours,

My boyfriend is super into cufflinks and has a great collection. I've never thought about wearing them myself but this is a great idea!
I have a french cuff link shirt and have to borrow cuff links from my dad too for it! I love how they look!

The privite high school I went to had uniforms, of course. The only thing we could wear as individuals, with the french cuff 'blouses', were cuff links. We all had collections....they were always the birthday gift you took to a party. I wish I had saved them!
Warmly, Kathleen
I've never heard of french cuffs before or the idea of wearing cuff links with a shirt - I'm now obsessed with both! I'm going to be on the look out for some to add to my wardrobe now!

Generally I wear formal attire, so cufflinks are always my favorite fashion accessories. I have huge collection of cufflinks, but cufflinks in silver colors are my favorite.
