American in Paris

If you've ever spent even 5 minutes on Summer Wind, then you know I have a slight obsession with anything and everything to do with Ralph Lauren. He is truly a fashion icon and one that I have the utmost respect for. His taste is impeccable. He started from humble beginnings and has really lived out the American Dream. He has built an empire through his eponymous label that started out with just a simple tie.

Besides fashion, he has many other ventures, but one of them that I am dying to visit is Ralph's... his restaurant at 173 Boulevard Saint Germain, Paris (you must must must watch this video). Not only do I really love French as a language-- I took French in middle school, high school and throughout college, but I love that Ralph basically brought America to Paris in the most tasteful way possible.

I don't really have a concrete bucket list, but if I did, dining at Ralph's would definitely make the list. For now, I'll just have to dine at the Chicago location to hold me over! Have you dined at Chez Ralph's? Have a fabulous day!

Yours,

Will be in Paris in September for a wedding and cannot wait! A stop here is at the tippy top of my must do list. -KLV in PHL

What a gorgeous restaurant! I know I won't be in Paris anytime soon, but I will add Chez Ralph's to my list of things to do in Chicago :)

I've been! The food is good (they serve homemade caramel popcorn for dessert to each table- yum!) but the service was not too great. The decor, beautiful uniforms, and setting make up for the poor service though :)

I've been to the Chicago location, and the food was just delicious! I particularly remember the key lime pie - mmm.
