I'm not sure how many times I've mentioned how much I love shirt dresses, but I know it's a lot. They're probably one of my favorite style of dresses to wear; especially in the summertime. They're comfortable, not casual but also not too dressy, and come in a bevvy of fabrics, colors, and prints.
Not to mention, a shirtdress is timeless, classic, and ladylike. They'll never go out of style, which makes me feel great when I add one to my collection. I specifically love to wear them when I am running errands in the summer because they're a throw-on-and-go type of dress but I also love wearing them to work or a casual event. Versatility is key, ladies and gentlemen.
I styled this gorgeous sailboat print shirtdress in a way that I'd wear it from work to cocktails. The open toed wedges give it a little more of a young, trendy feel and the monogrammed bucket bag is large enough to hold all of the essentials for a long day! As far as sizing goes, I'd say it runs slightly big. I am in a size two!
