I'm back in Pittsburgh after such a fun weekend visiting friends from college. On Saturday, I got together with my freshman dorm friends. I've written about my freshman dorm before (you can find that post, here). I'm so lucky to have had such a special 4 years in college with them, especially that first year where we all lived together. We have two couples from the dorm that are still together and one couple is getting married! Even though I hadn't seen some of them for years, we all picked up right where we left off. Those are the best kinds of friendships, right?!
Then, on Sunday morning, I headed to Annapolis. My 'big' in my sorority is from Annapolis and so we went to her parents for her baby shower. I was a bridesmaid in her wedding (you can see her stunning wedding, here) and she is one of my absolute best friends. I couldn't be more excited for her and her husband! They are having a girl in June. The shower was nothing short of fabulous... her family always plans the most fun parties and get-togethers and her parent's home is right on the water and absolutely stunning!
Sunday night, we went to The Chart House for dinner which is right on the water in Annapolis. It's a gorgeous restaurant surrounded by sailboats.... not to mention delicious! Then we headed back to Nikki's house to check out all of the gifts for the baby... so cute. All in all, the weekend was an absolute blast.
Now moving on to today's outfit. I originally bought this black romper to wear to a bachelorette party, but it's going to get a whole lot more wear than that, that's for sure! If you follow along on Snapchat or Instagram, you've already seen this, but I fell in love the second I put it on. It's under $100 and can work for so many different occasions. I wore it out to dinner and drinks with friends last week, brought it along with me to D.C. to wear out to the restaurants/bars with friends and then plan to wear it for a bachelorette later this year. It's super versatile like a little black dress.
I mentioned on Snapchat that I think the bell sleeves are a really cute touch, but since that is currently a 'trend', it will date the romper in years to come. However, the sleeves are right on the seam, so I'm going to have them removed probably after this year. I love the wrap front because it's really slimming and figure flattering. I will say, though, the shorts are short. I'm pretty modest and these are as short as I'd ever go. So if you're really tall, this romper may not work for you.
As far as sizing goes, I recommend sizing down. Their sizing is always weird, but I ordered a 6 which translates to a 2-4, and it was too big. I then ordered it in a 4 and that translates to a 0-2. I'm usually never a 0, so you should definitely size down because this runs big and this is something you definitely want to fit properly and not too loose.

I'm not usually a big romper person, but I really like the one you are wearing in this post!
