Gosh, do I love me some Primanti's sandwiches! If you are a Pittsburgher, I'm sure you feel the same way. Primanti's is a Pittsburgh institution and one of the recommendations I make to anyone that asks me what to do while in Pittsburgh!
Besides Pittsburghers loving their Primanti's sammiches (that's yinzer speak for sandwiches), we also love pierogies. So I was SO excited when Mrs. T's Pierogies let me know about their partnership with Primanti's!
The Polish Hill just launched on June 8th and is made with kielbasa, grilled slaw, melted provolone, spicy beer mustard, tomatoes, and Mrs. T's Pierogies (instead of fries). I tried it on the day it launched and it was SO delicious. I actually prefer the pierogies on the sandwich to the classic fries!
You can try the Polish Hill at Primanti Bros. locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, and Michigan through mid-August! I personally love the Market Square location because it's central to everything downtown and has great outdoor seating. A great place to get together with friends and enjoy the summer weather! You also can't beat the original Strip District location, too.
And can we talk about the fact that I was able to get a photo with FOUR of the pierogies! I am usually rooting for jalapeno Hannah during the pierogy races at the Pirates game, but now that I'm friends with all of them, it's going to be hard to root for just one! Thanks to Mrs.T's Pierogies for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.
