Printed Pieces That I Love

One fashion 'trend' I can totally get behind are all of the printed things that are out right now. A lot of them actually look like upholstery fabric/wallpaper/etc. I think it's a nod to the whole 'grand millennial' thing and I am so here for it. 

Typically, I avoid a lot of printed items in my wardrobe because I think they can become dated quickly (besides Lilly which is always a classic). Solids really never go out of style. 

I will say, I don't really consider stripes as 'print'. I think they're just as classic as a solid (when done right)!!

However, I think it is definitely important to have a few prints to mix in here and there. Whether it's a statement coat, a beautiful blouse, or funky flats, a printed piece can be a conversation started and what adds personality to your outfits!
