I had to look back in my Amazon orders to see how long I've had this steamer, and it has been well over three years. I have been using and loving it!
I love crisp white linens on my bed. It's such a simple pleasure for me. I love washing my bedding and changing the sheets frequently for that fresh bedding feeling.
Whenever my sheets, duvet cover, and shams come out of the dryer, they are usually a bit wrinkly. Years ago, I would literally iron my bedding. It would take forever, and sometimes, I would just let it be wrinkly because the ironing was so tedious.
Then I discovered a steamer, and I've never looked back. I take my wrinkly bedding, put it on my bed, and then while the linens are ON my bed, I steam everything. It's so much easier, and the entire bed takes me all of 10 minutes. You can get a good idea of the steamer in action in this Instagram Reel.
I used to have this steamer, which is really great and it had held up for years. However, I dropped it on my bathroom floor, and it broke! So I ended up replacing it with this this steamer, which is the same brand.
I'm amazed at how well it works. You just plug it in, and it heats up quickly, and you can begin steaming. The face of the steamer (where you see the silver in the top photo) actually heats up, so it's like an iron and steamer hybrid. The heating plate is not as strong as an iron, though, so keep that in mind. The steam that comes out of this is like one of those big professional steamers. It's crazy!!
It is the perfect thing to use on my bedding. I also use it for all my clothes, and my husband loves it. The only thing that this does not work perfectly for are men's shirts (if you want that starched look). Otherwise, this is amazing!
Another reason I love steamers is because steam heat kills a lot of germs/bacteria etc. I've used it on house stuff, too, like blankets, curtains, and napkins!
I just recently got the travel version of this steamer. I've used the larger steamer for travel, but it's cumbersome and a bit heavy. I always worried it would put my suitcase overweight or take up valuable space. This travel steamer doesn't have a hot plate on the front, but it works well for travel. It's much smaller and lighter weight than my larger steamer. The water reservoir is also a lot smaller than on my larger steamer, so you can really only do one garment at a time and then have to refill, but that's all I am ever really doing while on vacation- one or two items a day! This is also dual voltage so you can travel without a worry! I don't think I would use this one as my only steamer, but I'm so glad I spent the extra money to get the travel size, too.
