Hermes Silk Cashmere Shawl

One of the most worn accessories in my closet is this Hermes silk cashmere shawl. It's 140cm, so it's quite large (about 53ish inches)! It's 70% cashmere and 30%silk making it so soft and lightweight but still warm. The way it drapes is so beautiful.

My favorite way to wear this scarf is with a monochromatic, neutral outfit to make the colors pop! It's an easy way to add color. I heavily lean on scarves like this during winter because they keep me warm and add an element of color I crave.

Whenever I share this scarf, I'm always asked how I tie it, and I just google around until I find a fold I like and try it out! There are SO many ways to tie a scarf, no matter the size! Hermes has guidance on their website, too!

I would love another one- it's at the top of my wish list. I popped into the Hermes while we were in DC, but I didn't see any designs/colors that jumped out at me, so I'm kind of holding off until I see one that speaks to me. Hermes scarves are pricey, especially the cashmere version, so make sure you get a design and color you absolutely love!

Anyway, I love to browse sites like Fashionphile and The Real Real to see if any designs catch my eye. These are resale/consignment sites. You can usually save a few hundred dollars, and I always use the filter options to sort for priority colors, condition, etc.

I thought I would round up some of my favorites that are available right now. Sorting through all of the available options can be so time-consuming, so I did the work for you all!

I also thought sharing a few looks for less would be helpful! There are many great options out there! So many brands create their own scarves and they're all so beautiful. I love the idea of using some of these that I have rounded up as a pareo at the beach. It's something that I would not use my Hermes scarf for, as I would not want to get it dirty with sand, chlorine, salt, or SPF! You can even launder some of these!

Sharing these 4 photos, which were taken in all different seasons: winter, spring, summer, and fall, to illustrate that a scarf really is a seasonless closet staple!
