Lately

Earrings I wear often

I've been living in this lounge set all week!

I hope you are all having a lovely week. It's been a very standard week around here. Nothing all that exciting to report.

I got my new car and many of you asked what kind of car I purchased. I bought a Volvo XC60 which is a mid-size SUV. I am really liking it so far. If you have been following for any length of time, then you know how particular I am about a beige interior for a car. Not many offer beige anymore, especially beige leather seats that also have a beige interior roof. A lot of beige interiors have black/dark ceilings.

I don't know anything about cars and have no interest in them. I see them as nothing more than an expensive necessity and so the only thing that matters to me is that it has beige interior. After I narrowed down what brands offered mid-size SUVs with fully beige interiors, that's when I made sure whatever I was buying was safe and didn't have any weird issues. When everything was narrowed down to beige interior, it really cut out so many options and the search became a lot less overwhelming. There were a few brands I learned to stay away from after researching a bunch. I was between this, the Audi Q5, and the VW Atlas. I think VW makes the very best beige interior. It's the perfect shade of creamy and warm but I felt that the Atlas was too large for my liking. I was nervous driving it. The Audi Q5 was great and very comparable to the Volvo but the Volvo ended up having a little more trunk space. I'm a big VW gal, my girlfriend drives the Audi, and my sister has the Volvo so that also drew me to these brands as I was able to talk to them and they gave their cars glowing reviews. I'm really liking it so far and have no complaints.

I have some fun plans on deck, which is always nice! Tonight I'm getting together with some girlfriends at one of my favorite restaurants and tomorrow we are celebrating my Grammie's 98th birthday!!!! 98!!!! Can you believe it?! I really cannot and feel so fortunate to have her in my life! She is the best! Then we have plans to get together with friends later this weekend! I also think we may squeeze in a trip to the Strip for some shopping!

Wearing: I just got this Dress from a new-to-me brand, Never a Wallflower for an Instagram collaboration and I love it so much. It's so well made and kind of reminds me of Tory Sport pieces! Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK!

Eating: I made my favoriteBurrata Pasta recipe. I used a fresh pasta brand from Whole Foods and it was delicious! It's seriously the perfect summer dish because it's light and fresh. I used the leftover burrata the next day for lunch and made pesto toast (Whole Foods sourdough bread is my favorite thing ever). I topped with prosciutto, burrata, salt, pepper, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and basil. YUM!
Drinking: I got the Orin Swift cabernet after it being highly recommended by so many and I liked it but I didn't think it was anything amazing. I will say, it was better after I let it breathe for a while! I feel like this is a highly liked and popular wine so I was disappointed that I didn't love it more. Especially because the price point isn't terrible and it's readily available here in PA (with our goofy liquor laws). Oh well! I want to try the 8 years in the desert blend next as some have said it is better!

Sale: One of my fave bras on sale in a few colors! I love that it doesn't have much padding and is so comfortable to wear.

Watching:
I'm watching 90 Day FiancĂ©: before the 90 days season 6 and let me tell you... it's one of the better seasons. It's such a mindless show but I can't get enough. It's on TLC.

Loving: This nautical sweater looks like Ralph Lauren or The Great but is under $100!

Wanting: This is kind of silly, but I've always favored half-zip pullovers over full-zip ones. However, in the past year or so, I've been loving full-zip things. I have no idea why! I have the half-zip version of this pullover but am eyeing the full-zip! This yellow tweed dress is gorgeous- I love the neckline! These pants are in my cart. I am so drawn to the colors, what do you all think of them? I love our Wustof knives but wow, these with the blue. handles are so pretty! I was actually able to snag our set on major sale from WS during a MDW sale many years ago! This is such a cute sundress under $150.

Amazon Rec: I published my May Amazon finds this week! I also wanted to recommend this Pet Car Hammock. I got a new car last week so I ordered a new hammock for Henry. I used this exact hammock in my Passat and loved it so I just repurchsed it for my new car! It is high quality, easy to clean, and is beige which is hard to find. You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
