Wore to The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and Biergarten

We spent the long weekend in Charlotte, visiting my sister and brother-in-law. My parents joined us, too, and we caravanned down south with the pups in tow. We had such a great time! They come home often, so I don't travel to Charlotte as often, but I always enjoy my visits.

We went to a cute Biergarten, had some delicious meals, enjoyed the warm weather, and did some shopping. I'll add exactly where we went under each outfit if you visit Charlotte sometime soon!

I wore this casual dress which is flowy and not fitted anywhere. It was such a hot afternoon, so this was the perfect thing. The fabric is nice and lightweight.

Dinner at The Goodyear House and drinks at Idlewild

The Goodyear House was adorable. The outdoor seating was so fun, and a cute little band played outside, too. The menu was creative but classic at the same time. My favorite thing was the deviled egg toast. WOW. I'm still dreaming of that. Everything was delicious. We ended the night at Idlewild, which we had been to before. It's a pretty cocktail bar where you order your cocktail by telling the mixologist what things you like, and they bring you something based on that!

I've had this dress for a few years now. It's my go-to when I don't know what to wear. It's simple, but the cut is just stunning. I think it runs small. I sized up to a 6. These espadrilles are my favorite. I love the platform as I think that makes them even more comfortable.

Dinner at Hello, Sailor

Hello, Sailor is one of my favorite spots. It's on Lake Norman, so you get a pretty lake view and outdoor seating. They have a fun little tiki bar, and the interior has 1960s Palm Springs vibes. It's casual, but it was so hot that evening that I just threw on this flowy dress, and it was the perfect thing to be comfortable in. It runs big; size down! I am wearing a size XS. Wet tried many delicious items on the menu, but the oysters were SO good. It's kind of an odd thing to be highlighting, considering no one is cooking them, but they were some of the best oysters I have ever had.

Brunch at 300 East, pastries at Sunflour, Antiquing at The Sleepy Poet, Ice Cream at Two Scoops

Love this breezy dress. It's so easy to wear, and the print is just gorgeous. It's beautifully made. It's the perfect thing to throw on in the summer heat. I'm wearing a size small, but should have sized down to XS as it runs very big! I didn't love our brunch spot- I just thought it was very average. I love to visit Sunflour as their cinnamon roll is incredible. We also got a blueberry pastry that was so delicious. The Sleepy Poet is a giant warehouse treasure trove of antique booths. We spent hours browsing. It's not a visit to Charlotte without Two Scoops. They have such unique flavors. I got the cereal ice cream, which was such a treat!

Walk to brunch at Zada Janes with Henry!

I've been to Zada Janes before, and it's delicious. It's a super casual diner-style restaurant. We sat outside and enjoyed a slow morning. I loved being able to bring Henry along. I got the breakfast quesadilla, which I am still dreaming of!

I am wearing a size 38 in this dress, which is probably like a medium. Overall, I find Lacoste to run small. I love this dress. It is sporty but nice enough to go out to lunch/dinner, too.
