Lately

Happy almost weekend! I hope you are all enjoying your week. Ours has been great as we have been spending it at Lake Chatuge with our family and friends. Yesterday was our third wedding anniversary so we have been at Old Edwards celebrating. We love it here. It's just so cozy and relaxing.

Otherwise, not much new here to report. It's always so refreshing being away because I can do my job without worrying about the grocery shopping, cleaning, etc. and just work and be inspired by new surroundings. It's a true luxury and I don't take it for granted!

Can you all believe we have arrived to August?! We are 2/3 of the way through the year. I really can't believe it. It will be 2025 before we know it. From now through December is my favorite time of year, though, so I always try to savor it!

Wearing: This is what I wore on the 9-hour car ride down to Georgia! It was comfortable but I still felt cute and put together! You can use SYDNEYXSPANX for 10% off and free shipping!

Are you following me on the LikeToKnowIt app?! You can shop all of my outfits, favorite finds, and more in the app. I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also access all of my posts, here, if you don't use LTK! You can also find me on ShopMy, another shopping platform!

Eating: These are delicious (from Trader Joe's). They are like the brown chips in Chex Mix but if they were gourmet! Great for a meat and cheese plate or for dips or even just snacking on them plain!

Drinking: My sister got this white wine in France and it is SO good. I'm not a white wine gal but I really enjoyed this. It was flavorful but still light and crisp. It's a Rhoe Valley white blend!

Reading: I just started this Elin Hilderbrand book and I'm loving it so far! I love her books!

Loving: I know many of you are anxiously awaiting my review on this Extreme Cream. I won't fully review this and give it my stamp of approval until I finish the entire bottle, but I've been using it for a week now and I love it. I left my Bader at home and only brought this one to the lake. It's often compared to Augustinus Bader cream which I have been using for years now and love it. It's crazy expensive and I can understand how it is compared to AB as the consistency is pretty similar. Augustinus Bader has a patented ingredient in their product so this Extreme Cream cannot be the same in formula. However, this is $48 (you can enter your email and get 10% off your first purchase and then the refills are just $40) and I love the feel of it on my face. As of right now, I'm so pleased with it and it's just as good as many other expensive creams I have used in the past. Still can't fully recommend it as I believe you need at least a month with a skincare product to really give it a good go, but so far so good!

Wanting:
Love the new AW cardigan. So gorgeous and the quality is always top notch. Did you see Anthro has a fall section on their website? I'm usually ready by now to dive into that, but I think I'll wait another week or two until I fully get into it. I LOVE the fall. These jeans are currently in my cart! Love the cut and color. This blue pullover sweater is on my fall wish list! I have this adorable sport dress from last year and it's just back in stock! I love it for golf.

Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh friends, this Pittsburgh Parks event coming up in September looks like so much fun and my husband and I are thinking of attending. It's all you can eat and drink included in the ticket price! I'm trying to gather some friends to join us and it benefits the Pittsburgh Parks- a win-win.

Amazon Rec:  I randomly ordered this body wash as I forgot to bring any to the lake. This was a nice big bottle and unisex in scent so everyone could use it. It smells nice- it's light and clean smelling and the price is so low for the size of the bottle. We all agreed we really liked it- it doesn't dry out your skin and cleans well.
