J. Crew Fall

Outfit I:

Outfit II:

On Thursday, I posted an Instagram campaign I shot for J.Crew! I started this blog in 2009, and J.Crew has been one of my favorite brands since I was a teen. I've shared the brand organically for 15 years, so when J.Crew reached out to work together, I nearly cried tears of joy.

So, while this post is not sponsored, these were photos from the partnership! The pieces I am styling are from their new arrivals/fall collection and are gorgeous!

Out of all of the pieces, this Jacket is such a standout. The check print and autumnal hues are gorgeous. It's just like a classic jacket but with a longer length. I think it looks like a cross between a barn jacket and a trench coat. It has a slim quilted liner that is removable inside. The Pittsburgher in me greatly appreciates that, as I can wear this into December and then again in March. It's beautifully made and a timeless piece I know I'll still be wearing 10 years from now. I think the jacket runs a bit big. I am wearing a small but could have sized down to XS (still with room to layer a sweater underneath).

I also love their cashmere. They updated it in 2021, and it's very reasonably priced but feels like designer cashmere. The Cashmere Crewneck is an oversized fit. I got a size small and it fits like a medium/large. I love the look. It's casual but still looks polished. I hope they come out with pink in the future!

The Black Kick Crop Jeans are denim perfection. They are current but somehow feel classic at the same time because they have a trouser vibe. They're so comfortable and have great stretch. These run true to size, but if they are between sizes, size down.

The Cardigan is the last piece I will touch on. It has the look of Celine for a fraction of the cost. The texture elevates it, and the gold buttons make it feel special. This is one of those pieces that I will wear constantly as the weather cools. The color is a buttery cream- it's ever so slightly yellow like butter but looks like cream in different lighting.

This was such a pinch-me moment, and I appreciate all the support and enthusiasm you showed me on my Instagram post. It means more than you know!

I was over the moon when I saw this collab hit my feed, DREAMS! My favorite blogger and my favorite brand! If I could only wear one brand it would be J.Crew - I'm so happy that they're seeming to become more popular outside of their typical demographic in recent years.
