Gold Necklace (already in my closet!)// Sequin Top// Nude Pumps (already in my closet)// Floral Skirt
I fully dropped the ball on holiday cards! Usually, I have our cards in my possession at this point, and I'm just now getting around to thinking about it! There has been so much going on this fall that I just haven't even had the time to get to this point.
Do you all send out cards? If so, have you picked out your photo and/or card yet?
The good news is that I still have time, and instead of stressing myself out about it, I am making a plan! There is no reason a holiday card should be stressful. It's supposed to be a time-honored holiday tradition! When I get a card in the mail from family and friends near and far, I get a smile on my face, and that's what it is all about!
I put much thought into our outfits and location for our card each year. This year, I want to dress up with a 'holiday glam' vibe, so I've browsed, and the two outfits above are the ones I am considering. I haven't ordered anything yet, but I own some of the above things already!
I'm leaning toward the skirt outfit as I could also re-wear it for Christmas Eve, but I wanted to share this with you all in case you are still looking for some outfit inspo. This is a color palette I haven't yet used in a Christmas card, and I really like the glam of the metallics. I also like the black that grounds everything, and the pop of red is very holiday!
Next, I plan to order what I decide on for clothing and then come up with a location and date for our photos. We take our own photos, making things flexible based on weather, lighting, and our evolving schedules.
