Spring Break Outfit Inspiration

Seersucker Dress (use code SYDNEY15)// Raffia Sandals (on major sale!!!)

Are any of you headed anywhere fun anytime soon for spring break?! Unfortunately, we are not. We are still nearly a month out from spring, but I'm getting excited about the change in seasons. It's been a particularly snowy and frigid winter season here! We just had blizzard-like conditions yesterday!

One of the things about my job, which I have a love/hate relationship with, is that I'm often looking ahead to the next season or holiday. On the one hand, it's fun to be excited about the future, but on the other, it's harder to stay in the moment and relish the present. I'm sure many of you in the retail, events, and many more industries I'm not even thinking of feel that same way- you are not often grounded in the present because your job requires you to look ahead!

Currently, brands are beginning to launch their spring pieces, ditching the fair isle and darker colors for florals and pastels, so I thought I would put together some warm-weather inspiration.

This post came to fruition because Beau and Ro, a brand out of Charleston, sent me this gorgeous seersucker dress. Now, for those of you rule followers, we've got a long way to go until it's 'acceptable' to wear seersucker. The fashion police say the window is between Memorial Day and Labor Day. However, I personally believe there are no fashion rules. Dress as you wish! I will start to break out the seersucker in mid to late April. I think this definitely changes depending on where you live. I know, for many of you in warmer climates, start breaking out spring pieces come March.

This seersucker dress is so classically cut that it could be worn forever and never look dated. It runs a bit roomy, but I got my true size small. So, if you are between sizes, consider sizing down! They gave me a code: SYDNEY15 for 15% off. The fabric is very lightweight and will be perfect in the summer heat. It comes in a few other print options, too!

Speaking of summer, these Raffia Sandals are SO gorgeous; they are 50% off right now! They are comfortable and can be dressed up or down. Since they are neutral, they work with almost anything. They run true to size, but if between sizes, size down!

Gold Earrings (use code SYDNEY15)// Raffia Handbag (use code SYDNEY20)

Love the Label; the maker of the beautiful shirt gave me a code SYDNEY18 for 18% off. Unfortunately, it does not apply to new arrivals. But this is amazing. I love the fit as it's loose and chic, and the colors are so vibrant. It seems like the kind of shirt Eloise would design and then sell at the Greenbrier. It is so whimsical and one that people will stop you and ask you where it is from.

Swimsuit// Linen Wrap Skirt// Raffia Handbag (use code SYDNEY20)
Jelly Sandals (use code YOURULE)

This is another Beau and Ro piece that they sent over. It's gorgeous. It's a thicker linen fabric with a bit of structure. You can, of course, wear it as a skirt, but I love wrap skirts worn as cover-ups! My swimsuit is a few years old, so white is no longer available, but there are a few great colors out for spring. I have it in red, too, and it's the best!
Dress// Platform Grasscloth Sandals (on sale under $50)
Lilly Pulitzer is absolutely killing it right now. They have brought back so many classic silhouettes, and I love that they have so many pastel-hued pieces. They did so much neon in the past 10 years, it's so nice to see so many prints that remind me of white tag Lilly (IYKYK). I love this sheath dress. It gives me classic 1960s Palm Beach vibes and looks like something they would have had the cast of Palm Royale wearing! Fabulous! They also just launched so many beautiful pieces for the home. Sometimes, their home pieces can be cheesy, but these new pieces are perfect!
