Favorite Makeup on Sale

I use the same products most days. I love a natural makeup look, but I also like to get glammed up for a fun event, wedding, or night out. I love to try new things, but I am very loyal to most of my makeup products. During the Sephora sale, I like to share an updated makeup routine with you all. I try to buy makeup only when needed, but sometimes, I get intrigued by something. My weaknesses are blush and lip products!

The sale is going on now through April 14th. It's a tiered sale, and Rouge members get 20% off with code SAVEMORE. I'm a Rouge member, and that's only because my sister, mom, and I share the account. Sephora doesn't carry many brands I love, like DIBS, Mac, Kevyn Aucoin, Cle De Peau, etc., so I'm not a huge Sephora gal, but a 20% discount is great!

I took these photos on my iPhone and didn't edit them at all. With makeup, I think the iPhone shows color accuracy better than my camera.

shade N2

Concealer// I've tried a lot of concealers. I get dark circles under my eyes, so I've always paid close attention to the latest and greatest when it comes to concealer. This is easily one of the best I have ever used. It's thick but never cakey and incredibly easy to blend. It's not heavy and doesn't sit in fine lines. It's creamy and hydrating and never drying. I got this tube one year ago, and I am nowhere near the end of the tube. A little goes a long way, but even if you put too much on, it looks more like skin and less like makeup. You don't have to set it with powder, but I occasionally do.

shade IV (left), shade II (right)

Foundation// I have shared the foundation stick a lot over the years, so I won't go into too much detail, but this is my go-to foundation and has been for many years. My sister tried my foundation and ended up ordering it for herself. It's buildable, so you can use it for those 'no makeup makeup' days or full-glam days. It blends so well and feels like you are not wearing anything. It is never cakey, and the shades are spot-on.

Eyelash Curler// This is simply the best! Truly. I have tried many, and nothing comes close to this. It has a cult following, and it's because it works so well.

Lash Primer// This is the GOAT when it comes to mascara. It's a creamy white product that you put on your eyelashes. It plumps your lashes and extends them a touch. You wait until the white color becomes translucent, and then you can add your regular mascara overtop. It also makes my mascara less likely to smudge and last longer.

Mascara// I love this mascara. It's easy to apply and doesn't become clumpy or smudgy. I switch mascaras quite a bit but always seem to come back to this one!

shade Lionfish (above)

Eyeliner Pencil// I'm not a big eyeliner gal, and often, I use a powder over a pencil, but when I do use a pencil, it's this brown pencil. In the photo above, the brown pencil in the shade Lionfish is on top, and a basic black liner is on the bottom. The brown looks much more natural with my complexion. The pencil glides effortlessly, making it easy to apply. It never smudges while wearing!

shade Dolce Vita

Liquid Blush// I am a big blush gal, so I have many of them, but this is one of my favorites. It's low viscosity compared to any other liquid product I have used but still blends effortlessly. The shade I use truly looks like a natural 'blush' tone. For example, when people say, 'You're blushing, ' this is the exact shade I would picture on someone's cheeks. This looks good under the blush below but is also great on its own.

shade Rose Quartz (left), shade Peach Quartz (right)

Gel Powder Blush + Highlighter // These are called highlighters, but the name of this product is deceiving because many of the shades are awfully pigmented to be considered highlighters. I use the peach quartz shade as an actual highlighter, and it's stunning, as well as the rose quartz shade as a blush. They are one of my all-time favorite makeup products. The blush is very pigmented, so you don't need to use a ton, but at the same time, even if you use too much, you won't end up looking like a clown. I never really understood the phrase 'lit from within' regarding makeup, but this product made me understand. It truly makes my cheeks look like they are glowing. It's stunning. Plus, the product is a 'gel-powder,' while it goes on with a brush like a powder, it melts into my skin and blends beautifully like a gel. For the highlighter, I usually use it on the inner corners of my eyes and the tip of my nose. Sometimes, I just put this all over my lids as an eyeshadow. This is an exceptional product, and you can't find anything to hold a candle to it. I've had both of these for over a year and use them weekly, but I've barely made a dent.

liner in Beverly Hills, lip color in Poppy

Lipgloss/stick/balm// I feel like a broken record with this one, but it's my favorite lip color. I love that you get lipstick's color payoff, gloss's shine, and a balm's moisturizing feeling. It's a plump lip product that adds a touch of plumpness, but I would not buy this product because of the promise of a 'plump' lip. I just love the color; it's the perfect rosy pink coral. The only thing I don't love about this is the coconut scent. There is no reason a lip product needs to be scented/flavored.

Lip Liner// This is a new product that I have fallen in love with! This lip liner is so creamy and glides like no other liner I have used. It was described to me as a lip liner for someone who doesn't wear a lip liner. The color Beverly Hills is the exact shade of my lips, so this defines them, but you'd never know I was wearing a lip liner. It's truly magic.

What I Ordered:
Foundation in shades II and IV (restock)

Products that piqued my interest but didn't order:

Other Products I'd Recommend:
- Men's Cologne (smells divine! Don't take my word for it, read the reviews)
- Shower Oil (I use this to shave my legs!)
- My fave daytime moisturizer (Great under makeup, but you can use it at night, too)
