Today's lately post really snuck up on me with the long weekend we just had! I love a long weekend. We spent our time evenly between being social, getting things done around the house, relaxing, and enjoying ourselves. Even though we didn't do anything that thrilling, it was, overall, a wonderful weekend.
I am pleased to report that we successfully cleaned out our garage. It does, indeed, feel wonderful to have crossed that off our to-do list. We got rid of SO much stuff. I am not someone who likes to hang on to stuff. I get rid of things often, but the garage was a beast. It was just 6 years of collected odds and ends. We cleaned every single inch of that space out, and it looks so great. I feel a thousand pounds lighter after getting rid of everything!
We are going out tonight for my aunt's birthday which will be fun! I hope we lay low tomorrow- I am ready for a night in with no plans! Saturday we are getting together with friends and same with Sunday! The weather has really not been great lately- cold and lots of rain so I'm hoping to see some improvement with the weather soon. It's been a bit of a bummer to not be able to go to the pool or even go for a long walk without putting on a coat! I know I'll be complaining about the heat soon enough, though!
I feel a bit uninspired lately for content! I always go through creativity droughts and I'm currently in one! I do feel like I'll come out of it soon, though, because I have a solid list of ideas, so stay tuned! This always happens when my calendar becomes too full so hoping I can tone it down a bit in the coming weeks to get reinspired!
Wearing: Two outfits I wore this weekend! The first is what I wore for our sushi date night and the second I wore on a long afternoon walk on the one afternoon it was actually sunny and not freezing!

Watching: We started Sirens on Netflix and have two episodes left. It's kind of an odd show but good at the same time. It stars Julianne Moore and many others you would recognize. It's on Netflix and only 5 episodes. I also can't wait to dig into the Summer House reunion!!
Wanting: This linen dress under $100 is classic and adorable! I can never resist a backless dress!This pink and green dinnerware is gorgeous. This top and pants set are jaw droppingly perfect. Such a cute beverage tub for summer entertaining. I'm not a big lavendar person but these pants are gorgeous. The print on this dress is lovely. This flag cardigan is timeless! A classic rollneck sweater in fun duo stripes! These sailboat pants are in my cart. Just ordered these sandals in red! Finally ordered this in Nantucket red after eyeing it for many months! Love this white dress- the back is stunning! A bride needs this white skirt! A timeless wicker tote. Love this striped shift dress! This candle is one of my all-time favorite scents and reminds me of our honeymoon! It's such a pricey brand, but fun to find at TJ Maxx. I've read that you can topically spray magnesium on your body for muscle relief and on the bottoms of your feet for better sleep! Consider me intrigued, so I'm ordering this spray to try! I'll report back- my code SUMMERWIND worked on it! This little sweater shell is adorable. I wanted this handbag last year and still want it this year! Love the green color of this clutch! Cute dress at a great price! I'm ordering this open knit tank to go with these shorts. I'm not a big shorts gal but these in the darker khaki color are giving major Nancy Meyers character vibes.
Reading: I'm starting a book list to read this summer and Winter Garden by Kristin Hannah is on it! Has anyone read it?! I just got It's a Love Story by Annabel Monaghan.

Pittsburgh: We finally went to Golden Gai, a Bakery Square sushi spot that opened last year. It had been on my list to try for a while now! It's a tiny restaurant with mostly counter/bar seating and only two small tables in the back. They made the best of the space as it is gorgeously decorated and lit, but very tight. I felt awkward trying to get out of my barstool seat to get to the bathroom without whacking my neighbor. They have a huge liquor list and inventive craft cocktails, but were unable to make me a Hendrick's gin martini. They didn't have Hendrick's, nor did they have olives. I found that odd. The cocktail I got was good, but I'm not a big craft cocktail gal. If you are going to have a full bar, you should be able to serve up the classics, too. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, but the portions were small. The service was just OK. Sushi is my favorite food, but this restaurant fell flat for me. I can't see myself racing back.
Amazon Rec: I posted my May Amazon round-up yesterday; check it out! I ordered these Sandals on a whim and ended up very pleasantly surprised. They are a very on-trend style this season, so they're not something I'd want to pay a ton for. But who knows, I may wear them more than I think and end up ordering the brand name! TBD, but I really do love them more than I thought I would. I love the pop of red, but they come in a bunch of colors. I got a size 8.5, and they fit perfectly. I'm normally a size 39, for reference. The quality is on par with something you'd get from Target. Target has a cute heeled version, too!

Smelling: This is such an incredible deodorant. It smells so light and fresh and truly has a hint of basil to it. My code SYDNEY15 should work on this. I am going to buy the mini set for travel and to keep one in my tote!
