Clipped these from my limelight bush and dried them!
Boy, this has been a crazy week! All good things, but if you've noticed I've been quiet, that's why! We are headed to Boston to visit friends and drive up the coast with them to Maine. I have never been to Maine before, so I am excited.
October 1st always begins my busy season. I am SO grateful for you all being here and so excited for Q4. I feel like there are so many beuatiful pieces out from so many of my favorite brands and I've been previewing some holiday sets and excluisves and it's all so good. It really makes me excited!
I can't believe there are only 3 months left of the year. It is WILD that 2026 is around the corner. This is my favorite time of year. I truly look forward to this time every single year and I am trying to savor it so that time slows down a bit!!
Cutest new shoes I brought with me on this long weekend trip that DV gifted me. They're SO comfortable.
Wearing: I finally settled on these Clogs. I'd call them slipper adjacent as they don't scream slippers and I'd be OK with wearing them to the grocery store, but I also don't plan on wear them with 'real outfits'. I really like them and what ultimately sold me is that they are machine washable and are incredibly comfortable. They're also simple in design and don't really standout, which I preferred. I'm not necessarily wearing them to be fashionable, rather to be comfortable and cozy this fall and winter!
You can find me on ShopMy, where I link all of my outfits, favorite finds, home decor, beauty, and more! I am constantly updating it with the latest! You can also follow me on the LTK app. Plus, you are able to access all of my posts, here, on my website!
Eating: One of my husband's passions is perfecting pizza. He makes it all from scratch and has perfected Neopolitan pizza in the Ooni. Boy, have I been the beneficiary! He then perfected pan pizza, which I really didn't know was so different, but yes, it is. And now, he's perfecting pizza with a baking steel. When it came to our house, I was like, 'What on earth?' It's literally just a large sheet of metal... and very heavy at that. But he has started to perfect the baking steel method, too! It's so good. It's more like a traditional New York style. Apparently, you can do all sorts of things with this sheet of metal, but I'll let my husband do all of the experimenting! Anyway, I wanted to share in case you need a unique gift idea for a pizza perfectionist or someone who loves to bake. Alternatively, if you're someone living in an apartment/condo that doesn't have outdoor space for an Ooni, this will give you more pizza-making capability in a regular oven.
I also shared the most delicious popcorn recipe!
Reading: Has anyone read the new Elin Hildebrand book?! I do love a good fall, prep school book.
Sale: InnBeauty, one of my go-to brands for affordable skincare that actually works (and works *well*) is doing their holiday bundle sale where you can bundle 4-5 products and save up to 20%. They don't often go on sale (and are already well priced) so if you like this brand or are looking to gift his, you may want to check this out.
Watching: There's a new season of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. It's my guilty pleasure that I discovered during the pandemic. I think the other iterations are not as good. 'The Other Way' is the best version.
I've added the show 'Task' to my list as I've seen so many people rave about it. It's on HBO and stars Mark Ruffalo (you know, the guy from 13 Going on 30). What really sealed the deal for it to be added to my 'to watch' list is that the guy who created, wrote, and produced Mare of Easttown also wrote Task. I loved Mare of Easttown.
Listening: Would it be remiss of me if I didn't mention the new Taylor Swift album? I'm not a Swiftie, but I do enjoy her music. I've been to some of her concerts and loved them. I'm honestly just not a super fan of anyone... maybe Nancy Meyers? But not even. But I will give her new album a listen!
Loving: I'm so into this Grove Co. website where you can order cleaner products for your home. They have a large selection and variety but I've mostly been ordering cleaning products. They are competitively priced, and much to my happy surprise, often less than I typically pay at big box stores. We got a new housekeeper a few months ago so I wanted to stock up to make sure she had everything and backups!
Wanting: Wow, now THIS is a coat! There is already a lot of holiday decor out, which is crazy, but I can't help but browse through it all. This frame ornament is adorable. I'd keep a few on hand to tie onto gifts or bottles of wine/olive oil! This plaid jacket is darling. I'm thinking ahead to Thanksgiving- this is the perfect skirt for the occasion! This pillow is giving Lee Jofa but for 1/5 of the price. These pants are unique and fun! This faux fur coat is back and fully in stock. It sold out so quickly last year! I bought a size small and it is the perfect fit. They also released a shorter version, which is equally as chic! The clasps/buttons on this jacket are SO good. I have this dress in an older print from a few years ago, and it's the easiest and most flattering dress. I wore it for Thanksgiving a few years ago, and it was perfect for that occasion. This new colorway and print is stunning and still the ideal thing for Thanksgiving! Love these customizable initial scarf necklaces. Love the color of this tote. A timeless cable fisherman sweater. This could either be weird or amazing, I'd have to try it on to decide, but I love the idea of it. This dress is gorgeous and elegant and could be worn in the office or to an event. A darling fair isle cardigan. The chicest fleece jacket. These pants look fabulous but surpremely comfortable, too. This sweater looks beyond cozy!
Pittsburgh: This isn't just in Pittsburgh, but at most Capital Grilles around the coutnry. I won't bore you with the specifics since I already talked about this last week! We finally went to CG and got the truffle burger and it was SO good- per usual! Like melt in your mouth perfection. I selected 8 Years In the Desert. I know it's a popular one, and it's lovely, don't get me wrong, but it just is not my favorite and not something I would ever buy a bottle of.
Amazon Rec: These socks are from the same brand that makes the athletic socks that my husband and I love. They are so inexpensive and nice quality. I just ordered this crew set because the colors are not as harsh as white, so I thought they'd look nice with some fall/winter shoes and my new clogs!
You can find more of my Amazon favorites, here on my Amazon page where I am constantly updating it with all of my finds and top picks from home, beauty, fashion, and more!
Smelling: One of my favorite things in our home is the Jackie O print I bought from Drawberston over 10 years ago and I've been a fan of his for even longer. I love the collabs he does with various brands and this one is especially good because this is a scent from Nest that I already know I love! How fun! I love repurposing the vessels once I've burned through them so you better believe I will be saving this one to use as a vase or to hold pencils or whatnot!
